Would be handy for when we get stuck in loops so we don't have to Alt - F4 all the time Perhaps something to drag us back to log in on the loading screen also.

    Every other post got some CS love but this one =( its a solid idea and was stupidly handy on wow when things were playing up.

    I've gotten two infinite load screens trying to log in after the 1.5 update this morning. So I can't get in game to give you /feedback. So consider this your feedback. Fix infinite load screens. Thanks.

    I do like the apparent change with fast travel after you're in the game to alert you of the failure immediately rather than timing out and eventually retrying. Perhaps applying this to the initial character load would be a good next step. And then, of course, actually preventing it altogether.

    I always though that ESO is updating it self the 2nd time in a loading screen, since Update 5 is so BIG -- it will take a while. So I just let it work and the char selection screen will come up sometime.

    I have had endless loading happen several times as well since 1.5. Sending bug report in game now as well.

    Hey there folks,

    After a major update, the first load into character select may take some time. Once you reach the character select screen for the first time, subsequent log ins will be much quicker.

    @ZOS_GaryA‌ is not just after updates its when we are caught between zones or getting booted from cyro or logging on in general +(

    Yes, well aware of the first load screen TO CHARACTER SELECT being slow after a patch. Also tends to have a music stutter I've bug reported, too. But my infinite load screens earlier were AFTER character select, trying to enter Reaper's March. I noted that the load screen I got did not actually say Reaper's March, though.

    I only got to character select 2 out of 7 times. Have yet to get in game... It's been about half an hour of failed attempts, even after setting my graphics to way lower than what is required for me to run the game.

    SCRATCH THAT!! Sorry, I just had to complain some for the ESO gods to work with me here lol.

    After my first failed attempt to load in a character I thought that it was taking a long time for the initial load after the patch but leaving it trying to load all afternoon is not something I wish to do. Since some people are actually making it in after about there 3rd attempt I guess I will keep trying.

    Well third try is the charm I guess. Finally made it in with my third character. Will try switching characters later on after I get a feel for the new features.
