FFXIV works. DCUO works. Destiny Works... I'm pretty sure ESO will work. I actually can't think of a game that doesn't work with PS4/Vita remote play.

Ok. Sounds good then, mind you I'll stick to playing it on my PC.

Yea... I would personally LOVE to have cross-play ability between the two. It would be awesome to be able to play on my PC then pick it up on my PS4/Vita and continue on. The different servers will make this impossible though. Sadly.

I'll never understand why people like to play this kind of games on such a small screen.

Smaller yes, but closer when you play, means not as much of a difference as people imagine. It's about getting more comfortable while you play.

I may not be doing it myself, but I understand the temptation.

I know what it feels like, I've used a Vita and I have a 3DS XL with a screen of roughly the same size (though admittedly, the quality is worse). I wouldn't use it to play ESO even if I could. It's a personal preference, I guess.

Much as I love my Vita and use cross play on occasion my problem with it is the thumb sticks. They have no resistance to them so sometimes you have to mess with the settings a lot to get anywhere near comfortable to play and even then it feels weird.

So if I wanted to play in first person mode it would be very difficult for me. 1st person games do not work well at all on the vita. Also I have a nerf case cause its more comfortable when playing but trying to tap the back screen is hard and uncomfortable. So long as I don't have to use the back screen I'm good but if I do I can only stand to playtime vita for about an hour.

Oh cool idea! ESO will have it's place on the PS4, and playing it on the Vita would be a nice feature. To me, MMOs have always been a PC experience though, and I'll keep it that way with ESO. I remember my friends playing FFXI on PS2 years ago...

im actually playing while i wait to transfer my account to ps4 just hope they decide what kind of game they wanna make by time it comes to ps4, assuming it will still come to console... only 2months left in that 6 month delay. not a word from zos and gamestop has a december release date......obviously thats not gonna happen . ps4 commercials dont even run the eso spots anymore....

i was reasssured a month or two ago the transfer deal is still a go and aslong as i bought the game before deadline ill be fine we shall see.

Shouldn't you be comparing the same game on both, not different ones?

everybody has their own way of playing, but playing on a vita may have its own pros and cons. for me, well id hate to play on a smaller screen but on a another perspective it could get comfortable just lying down in bed. ill stick to PC since i wouldnt want to buy ESO again + its subscription

ESO for consoles will be $20. That's really cheap. Also, if you played before...May I think, you can switch your account from PC to console for free.

Only thing I wish is that there will be a way to put a mouse/keyboard on the PS4 either straight with the PS4 or using Xpadder (is that the name of that thing that made keyboard and mouse possible for consoles last gen??). I love using a controller for casual stuff ( to me, it feel WAY more comfortable than sitting on my chair with keyboard+mouse ), but for dungeons and trials and ''hard'' content, I want the precision of a keyboard and mouse, not a controller.

ah well i have not been informed about that, last time i looked 6 months back they were going to do separate payments for those, i do agree a controller would be more comfortable than sitting on a PC.

Actually, it's $20 for the switch if you bought it on PC before the end of June. Standard price for consoles is still $60.

I would play on PS4 because I could natively use a controller and the game world would actually be populated.
End the tedious inventory management game.

That's not how I understood it. We would need a dev to clear this up because I am pretty sure, if you had an account before, you say it's june, you buy the PS4 game for $20 instead of $60 and you get a ''free'' account transfer to PS4 from the PC.

I think the experience would be crap on a tiny thing like that. Just get a Nvidia Shield Tablet, it's 8" a real good android tablet and can stream games from your PC.

The size DOES matter but I would more than likely use It to do crafting material runs... not to play seriously. It would make it so the time I usually spend away from ESO can become time I spend with ESO. Not a replacement of play-style... an addition.

I know of a few people that can't wait for PS4 release so they can move across their VR14 toon to the console and kill it in PvP.

There won't be that many PC players that will want to migrate across to console so the thought is, go console and rule supreme.
