How to PvE in Cyrodiil??

So I just discovered there are town quest Hubs in Cyrodiil. How easy is it for a solo player to do these quests? Especially for the towns that are near other factions? Does the regions need to be under your factions control to do the quests?

Are they soloable? What level do they start?

Will they require pvp to progress?

What's the advantage of doing these?

The easiest way to complete the quests in cyrodiil is to pick a campaign that your alliance fully controls. So you don't have to worry about completing them in the enemy territory.

I completed all the quest solo and bumped into a couple enemy players here and there.

    1. Yes they are soloable (Cyrodiil is currently scaled to VR5 if i'm not mistaken)

    2. Perhaps, depends on the campaign, day and well which hour you are playing there

    3. There isn't any advantage really..Just enjoyment from doing extra quests?

    4. Towns are neutral, factions do not control them.

Except for Bruma, guards for the faction that controls nearby keeps will patrol the cities and they will attack players from other factions. You definitely need to be mindful of them.

A few of the city quests are not repeatable but there are 47-48 quests you can complete every day (well, up to the game limit of repeatable quests every day which is in the low 40s). In addition to those quests, there are several go to quests scattered throughout Cyrodiil which are one time only quests which will lead you to the quest hub cities. Have fun finding them.

Negative, they will not require PvP to progress. I recommend going to a campaign where your alliance is winning by a landslide and doing the quests there.

Easy for you, as you run a lesser chance of ganking by enemy players.

Veteran 5 is the best way to try it. If you are a good player and well trained .... try it earlier. I did the tasks with vet. 5 and early in the morning. Have fun ...

All of the mobs are VR5 so make your own judgment as to how you handle that level of mobs.

Battle Level on in the settings if you are below 50. Turned it off once you hit v1.

That pretty much tells you how the campaigns are going.

Here's a site where you can check which campaigns are controlled by which alliance at the moment: http://esostats.com I think it gets updated very frequently.

I've soloed all the Cyrodiil quests, too, but only at the second attempt I completed them in one go (over a few days). The "normal zones" quests I've completed before and went back to Cyrodiil at VR10 (close to 11), so I got my Tamriel Hero title and also hit the next rank :)

When I tried it the first time, I was VR2 I think, and I got killed all the time, especially in Cheydinhal where some VR12 vampire was sitting and waiting for his prey to show up... which was me, over and over again, until I had enough of these trolls there. Back then, the map/campaign was almost fully controlled by the Ebonheart Pact (which I belong to), but still that guy kept waiting there.

I think, VR5 would be the best rank to start doing the quests, or after completing the other zones to have even higher chances to not die behind every tree ;)

But watch out for the guards; when you see one or more of your own faction at a place/town, it doesn't mean there are none of the other alliances around (Cropsford is a good example). And they spot you from miles away (well, not miles, but the radius is much higher than from a normal NPC, I've noticed). And they take their jobs very serious^^

    Have fun :)

Cropsford is probably the easiest/fastest. Chorrol/Weynon was the worst due to all the traveling between the two split hubs. It's also the closest to an enemy base if you're EP or AD.
