Yeah I think I've been chatted at by Fluffy more than he's actually fought me. He's quite the social butterfly :P~Awesome gameplay!
Questions:
1. What are your stats without emp?
2. How the heck did you dodge the Meteor at 19.45? I didn't even figure out who casted it after 3-4 checks.
1) I run with just under 3700 hitpoints and 2300 magicka without emp. Being emp allows me to switch up my gear / enchants to better take advantage of some of the bonuses and help mitigate some of the softcap losses.
2) Ball lightning. I dodged by reflex when I heard the meteor but Ball lightning absorbs *all* spell projectiles even Meteors just as casting Eclipse or using reflective scales will reflect the meteor back at the caster. Taking an emp boosted meteor to the face after having it reflected back to you is no joke!
Block is your best defense against meteor in the absence of a reflect or ball lightning.
So many sorcs overlook the advantages Ball Lightning affords over streak. I've never even tried streak because I like Ball Lightning so much although streak fits a more in your face playstyle much better.Permanently banned from the forums for displaying dissent: ESO - The Year Behind

I know one time I was instrumental in wiping your raid in a tower but in the footage I've reviewed so far I haven't found it. My hard drive was full for a good part of my reign and it was difficult to set aside the time to review and accept/discard footage instead of actually playing the game. The last scene in my emp video actually went on for quite some time after but it abruptly ended when my hard drive filled up. I lost a lot of good footage due to that happening constantly.
I still have several hours of footage left to review (I would only record during good fights) and atleast another 2 videos worth of acceptable footage that has already been put into my "Accepted" folder.
I was tempted to make a "fun with meteors" video because I have so much footage of me 1-shotting vampires back to back over and over and over again haha. Die you blood sucking scum!

✭✭I want to switch it up to Ball of Lightning soon but I can't pass up on Streak currently because I love popping NB out of stealth with it. I'm pretty sure BoL will only pop them out if they're near when it is cast, while Streak will pop out anyone you move through. I also hold on to Streak because I'm stubborn and can't give up on my 2h for Crit Charge + Executioner and I think Streak works better with that. It is just wya too fun in 1v1 to have Vol Familiar out, Vel Curse, Frag if proc, Mage's Fury, Frag if proc, swap to 2h and Crit Charge + blow up familiar + executioner. Vel Curse + Vol Familiar + hopefully a Frag + Crit Charge all hit at nearly the same time and then BOOM Mage's Fury and Executioner blow them up.You earned the 500 LOLs badge.

Per the OP -- Really impressive play. Your character control and situational awareness are excellent. And you know how to utilize the Emperor bonus. When spellcrafting is implemented I am going to make a spell equivalent to Bolt Escape for my DK. It makes me happy to imagine all the crying about overpowered DKs if that becomes possible.
PS. I think Fluff is asking for more clips of you killing him.2 -

After 1.5 I think I'll seriously consider vampire and just see how OP a batswarm Sorc emp is. That's why I run mage light. Streak is much less reliable at breaking stealth IMO. It's next to impossible for a NB to run on me right now with magelight.
Crit charge seems fun and goes well with streak but I laugh when I see sorcs trying to pop familiars on me. I actually target them for bonus ultimate.Nice video. Fairly certain that this is the type of gameplay they were expecting when they made the sorc class and you play it really well.

Yeah I'm pretty reliant on constantly moving and being aware of people trying to flank me. If I sit still for too long too many people line up too many shots on me and will take me down quick. Even as Emp a sorc goes down quick to focus fire just like a normal sorc. I just try to sow general chaos by constantly shifting the direction of my attacks.
As Emp I swap in pure magicka enchanted gear and spell damage enchants since you get far less benefit for stacking health.

My personal experience is that Streak has a wider radius. Back in the pre-nerf days (talking about the target cap) you could pin a whole group down even if they were 3-4 meters to the left or right. With BoL you'd have to pass almost directly over them.
It is particularly useful for tracking down players that try to sneak or go invis as you said. It also has ult-gen due to damage, whereas BoL doesn't. However the increasing cost and target cap have made it a lot harder to use as an ult generator.EU | PC | AD0 -

1)Normally run with 129 Spellpower, as Emp 142.
2) Ball lightning stuns 3-4 yards around the point at which you cast it, not where you are going. This allows you to stun people who are charging you but it isn't as offensive. You can stun a nightblade in stealth with it however but you have to very close to them. Ball lightning is a Stun whereas Streak is a disorient if recall.
You're much better off spamming Mages wrath and Velocious curse against DKs than streak. 1) I run with just under 3700 hitpoints and 2300 magicka without emp. Being emp allows me to switch up my gear / enchants to better take advantage of some of the bonuses and help mitigate some of the softcap losses.
2) Ball lightning. I dodged by reflex when I heard the meteor but Ball lightning absorbs *all* spell projectiles even Meteors just as casting Eclipse or using reflective scales will reflect the meteor back at the caster. Taking an emp boosted meteor to the face after having it reflected back to you is no joke!
Block is your best defense against meteor in the absence of a reflect or ball lightning.
So many sorcs overlook the advantages Ball Lightning affords over streak. I've never even tried streak because I like Ball Lightning so much although streak fits a more in your face playstyle much better.

I'm personally using Streak since I really love the opportunity to streak through stealthing NB's or DK's, since it is one of the few sources of AOE damage against DK's, which fits to my single-target burst/kite build. If the radius mentioned above would hoverer be large enough it might be worth switching.
My personal experience is that Streak has a wider radius. Back in the pre-nerf days (talking about the target cap) you could pin a whole group down even if they were 3-4 meters to the left or right. With BoL you'd have to pass almost directly over them.
It is particularly useful for tracking down players that try to sneak or go invis as you said. It also has ult-gen due to damage, whereas BoL doesn't. However the increasing cost and target cap have made it a lot harder to use as an ult generator.

1)Normally run with 129 Spellpower, as Emp 142.
2) Ball lightning stuns 3-4 yards around the point at which you cast it, not where you are going. This allows you to stun people who are charging you but it isn't as offensive. You can stun a nightblade in stealth with it however but you have to very close to them. Ball lightning is a Stun whereas Streak is a disorient if recall.
You're much better off spamming Mages wrath and Velocious curse against DKs than streak. overload is so powerful because its an ultimate ( even more powerful if ur emp).
Mages furry is strong because its an execute.
Curse takes a while to take effect so.damage is appropriate.
Ovelroad light attack (along with crystal shards for that matter) aren't hard to dodge. Overall he's so strong mostly because he's emperor.0 -
