Newt Cave - Gravel Tooth
Does anyone know if he's broken? I've been sitting in here where he's supposed to spawn, for over 9 hours. No sightings yet.

It seems like some bosses need their trash to be killed a bunch before they will spawn.. but some of these,, ugh.~*~Some people are like slinkies. Completely useless, but it makes you smile to push them down the stairs. ~*~0

✭✭✭✭✭Bosses seem to have long timers and so far to my knowledge no one has figured out any kind of patten to them.
I have waited for hours for some bosses whilst others continue to respawn at a fast 10min rate. I have cleared every other boss in a delve or public-dungeon only to have those same ones respawn but the last one needed for an achievement still not show.
Me and a friend tried to test the theory that only so many bosses could be alive at one time meaning others had to die but this didn't prove true as when the boss in question would spawn all others would be alive as well.@Turelus - EU PC Megaserver

✭The longest I had to wait was 90 mins, but I found the best way to do the Cyrodiil dungeons was to get a guild raid of 16 people, this allows you to FORCE a second shard of the dungeon to spawn and if done right, you can farm the bosses (no waiting just force a new shard.)0 -
Teiji✭✭✭✭✭Cyrodiil Delve spawn timers are a really poor practical joke. In some of them, there can be no more than one or two bosses spawned at one time.
I just spent an hour in Newt Cave, I had to kill Rock Wing five times to get Gravel Tooth to spawn once. This is terrible and I dread someone turning on their console with half an hour to play, they spend ten minutes travelling to Newt Cave then ten minutes clearing it, only to kill one boss twice, having it spawn a third time before having to go offline.

✭✭✭✭✭I was in Newt Cave last night as well (Chillrend). However, we encountered Graveltooth twice but not Rock Wing at all in the 45 minutes we stuck around.
Not sure it will help, but try your guest server (Chillrend, Haderus, Thornblade, etc.) and see if that makes a difference. I'll try myself the next time caving in Cyrodiil.

✭✭✭✭✭Only one boss will be up at a time in a Cyrodiil cave. Whoever is up, kill them. In a couple minutes, another boss will spawn. It is just a random roll. It might be the same boss or might be a different boss. But you have to keep going in a circle, hitting all the boss spots, and killing whoever is up. They don't cycle in a set order. It is not on a timer. Kill a boss, another one randomly spawns. Cross your fingers that the one that randomly spawns is the one you need. For the love of Meridia, though, don't camp a boss spot! There is probably another boss up on the other side of the cave and the boss you want will never spawn if another boss is alive somewhere else in the cave.0 -

Just to add, whilst the general info is correct, some of the caves have 2 spawns up at a time, it's dependant on the total amount of bosses in the delve...if there's 5 bosses total, 2 will be alive at any one time0 -

✭Yeesh, I've been waiting in the cave for 35 minutes now and Gravel Tooth hasn't spawned yet... Rock Wing did and I killed him, but it's getting ridiculous for Gravel Tooth. Why is the timer so long? I thought it was a 15 minute timer for dungeon bosses.
EDIT: I waited for an hour and a half, then left the dungeon, waited 10 minutes, came back, and he was there. I guess you have to leave the dungeon for him to spawn.Edited by Lord_Draevan on January 22, 2015 3:11PMI'm a man of few words. Any questions?NA/PC server0
