Hm, seems I'm in for an even longer wait.

75 % of the people that are in crag are not there to quest , they are there to grind out to lvl instead of wasting their time grinding out the other two factions 1-50 vet zones . really wth came up with that idea as a great endgame content .

I can see it now . oooo we already made them grind their factions zones from 1-50 , now lets have them grind the other two factions 1-50 zone to lvl again haha yea thats freaking awesome idea .

if i didn`t need skill points for skills i wouldn`t even waste time with zone skill point quests or collecting skyshards .

Dunno guys, maybe i m just lucky, i did yesterday this quest (eu server)spamming for ppl in the chat zone and i've build the group in 40 mins. The only annoying thing is that only 4 players that are missing the quest can do it.

Took a friend and me 5 - 6 hours on and off, constantly spamming in many different zones to find two other people for Missing Guardian.

It was probably the most frustrating time I had in a MMO.

Why did we spend so long and didn't give up? Because it wasn't possible to get the final quest of Upper Craglorn without finishing this final quest of Lower Craglorn, and as completionists, we like to complete everything possible.

They need to either remove the requirement that all members of the group be on the same quest stage

Wasn't that just what they did in the previous update??

After i leveled to VR14, i just cba going to Craglorn anymore. PvP is unbalanced or with performance issues and leveling alts is getting boring after a while. So... yeah

(Didn't read other replies just the OP)

I looked for 6 hours one Friday night for that quest, then the next day I was in zone searching for 14 hours STRAIGHT no break nothing. I had people telling me to "Get **** and stop looking" because they got tired of seeing me zone it (even though I was not spamming it)... Thank god I have every quest in game done now including those slow grouping ones....

    Good luck op.

*edit* got it after 14 hours and the quest took a total of like 5-10 mins and could of pretty much be soloed.

Join a PVE guild (or a different one if you're already in one) and ask three members to come and help you, when they need help with something another time go and help them.

Ask in any trade guilds if anyone is interested in joining you, there are probably more people in you situation who would be interested in joining.

You mean there are such ones that are NOT chock full of arrogant pricks? Where are these? I've so far joined two guilds that advertised themselves as being PvE-focused, and there for helping out other players. In both cases it turned out that the "helping out" part was just a farking joke seeing as everyone were vet14 and had already completed all the quests, and therefore unable to actually help, and also that the guilds were full of elitist pricks shouting down requests for help with "l2p n00b".
Needless to say I immediately removed myself from the rosters of both guilds. Too bad I didn't think of emptying their guild banks first...

@AngryNord I'm sorry that the guilds you joined turned out that way, maybe create a thread on the forums stating you're looking for a guild with a mature attitude and any other requires you personally have for a guild.
Alternately you could start your own guild and find like minded people to join building a guild which is based on your ideals and can be a place with more mature attitudes.

There are guilds which suit almost everyone's play style out there, although it can sometimes be hard to find one which a good fit right away. I would say don't let two bad guilds put you off finding a good group of players to play with.

yep there are Guilds out there , that are fun and aren`t full of jerks, however most of those don`t spam recurit messages over zone chat ,

I know my guild does not recurit over zone chat , and normally we recurit by people seeing us in game and attending one of our open server community events.

However this game by design is very anti social, and has worest guild features i`ve every seen in a mmo .

Wow, this a bit old... I was finally able to finish the Craglorn main quest, then Upper Craglorn launched and I'm not even bothering with it, I'm sticking to PvP. I don't feel like waiting for weeks if not months to be able to finish the Upper quests.

Story quests should not be forced group. They should keep groups to repeatable dungeons and trials. I hope they learn from that with future updates. I haven't even finished lower Craglorn, and my sub is about to expire, so looks like I never will.

I haven't had any luck finding groups to complete the Craglorn quests. I joined a group several weeks ago and we completed the first quest in Lower Craglorn; but then half the group quit and now I am stuck trying to find people for the second quest which is impossible.

I finally gave up on the Craglorn quests this weekend, removed all of my armor and proceeded to sneak and blast my way through the delves in order to collect the skyshards in the zone. I don't have any completed quests except the first one; but I now have both of the skyshard achievements for Craglorn and it only cost me a few dozen soul gems.

Thank you, ZOS for implementing such a horrible questing system in Craglorn. You have only angered and frustrated your player base with this monstrosity.

@LonePirate‌, not sure if this addresses the quest you're currently on, but we do have a fix going into Update 5 so all group members can help you progress through the quest The Missing Guardian regardless of how much they've completed.

I do like the LFG tool changes I have seen with 1.5 on the PTS. Unfortunately, I am unsure if they will help my situation as I have three more quests to complete before I can even reach The Missing Guardian quest. It is not so much a phasing issue as a combination of not being able to solo bosses designed for groups of four and not being able to find 1-3 other people to complete the chain of quests.

The only solutions to my problem involve me giving up any hope of completing this content or waiting for ZOS to convert the quests/delves to be public or solo-friendly (which evidently is not in the cards).

Surely there must be three other people in the whole of your megaserver who could spend a bit of time to help you with those quests? I'd help myself, but I haven't reached Craglorn even on my main yet...

This isn't an unusual experience for an unguilded, mostly solo player in this game. Players not using the lfg tool exacerbates the issue as well. I see more and more people lately in Craglorn zone chat asking for a group for the quests. They are all on different stages of the story. They can't even help each other. On top of that, if one is pretty good at this game and can solo 4 man content, there are mechanisms that require there to be multiple players present.

I forget the name of that delve in Alakir. Anyway, none of my 4 characters have completed it fully. Because of that mechanism that forces you to have a party present.

I thought they fixed that, and stage of the story is no longer relevant... or is that part of Update 5 and therefore isn't in place yet?

This needs to be so for all quests from the beginning of the game. This is an mmo and players should be able to group whenever they want or need to. If I've already completed the quest just phase me in with the group leader.

I don't know how many times I've been unable to help others because of the world's worst grouping mechanics. Ever.
    It's ridiculous. :s

Basically it works like this, if you enjoy story and emersion, ZOS had better make it solo 'able. If you enjoy spending 6 hours doing anomaly, tower, UC, etc. runs to just boost through the veteran levels and get back to pvp, then Craglorn is for you.

The trials cannot be completed unless you have a top notch guild running them. (Unless you want to die...a lot) Pugs cannot move through them and even dragonstar which is supposed to be a four man requires you to be in leveled VR14 green+ with a leveled healer tank combo. You spend more time grinding and strategizing than you do giving two cents about Craglorn's story. If this was the objective, good work. If not, how could you not see this coming? The whole zone is basically a grind fest and then everyone leaves.

Are se playng the same game??????
If the op where posting this like 2 month ago the fact that no one where doing the ma in quest was the truth....... but now????
Craplorn seems like a total different zone, no more XP run only groups lot of people want to do quest , ( i' ve done the main quest in two days last week with my alt, when i've arrived in craglorn with my main it has taked 2 month for doing it) spam a little in the zone chat with the archivement of the celestial investigator in (so others can see at what point you are) and go for it..... Doing this way i've found a group in like 10 minutes
