Can't leave character select

I have been trying to play for 3 days now, but I can't load in. I sign in with no problems, but the screen that says requesting character load must not request urgently enough. I have tried letting it sit on that screen and came back 40 minutes later with the same result.

My guess is that ESO thinks its a proxy, since it looks like one from their point of view. It's more than that, of course. I never actually intend to use it with ESO; there's no real point in doing that. It's always an inadvertent thing. I only mentioned it because the symptoms look like what you're describing.
