The Nephilim - Dedicated ESO players home - Ebonheart Pact - EU Server

Cogo

The Nephilim were the offspring of the "sons of God" and the "daughters of men".

We are Ebonheart Pact alliance - EU server
We are a medium size active guild comprised of dedicated players who wants a long term guild home. Our members are from 20 to 55 years old; some are veteran players and some are first-time MMO players. Most members have a character at veteran rank by now, but we welcome all levels, as long as you play!

We have been active since launch, April 2014 and are part of ESOs guild community.

We build our guild on trust, friendship and cooperation. We explore, seek challenges, do dungeons, quests, tradeskills, PvP and raid together. Or we hang out in Teamspeak while we just group 2 people, having fun by killing stuff and scaring the hell out of wood elves.
In short: We play any way we want, have fun, and try not to ruin it for anyone else. The entire guild leads the guild by words and deeds.

Want to group with the same people, no matters what you do? That's us.

We look for the right person rather than awesome players, because the guild is our "home", not just "any" guild.
Therefore, we are neither:
- An elite Raid or PvP guild,
- A guild for impatient players,
- A big guild where no one knows anyone, or
- A hardcore RP guild.

However
We do hard encounters, such as the Undaunted achievements, dungeons, grouping together while exploring or playing.
We do battles in Cyrodiil, and we are into RP and the LORE of Tamriel.
We do most things that ESO throws at us.
What kind of guild are we? A guild with: Trust, friendship and cooperation.

Note: We are not a trade guild, but we managed to get a very good guild trader that sells like mad. We have no problems finding what we need.

What we do, we decide when we want too B)

As a guild member, you can trust every member. Since may, access to our guild bank is equal and free for all members, which to this date, have not been abused, even once. Our TS and guild chat can get busy at times, with all kinds of topics! "Can Orcs swim? WTF?"

Be advised, the invite process may take some time. You won't get an instant invite, no matter how many Matt Firor you have slayed. Despite our relaxed approach, we do have a few requirements:
  • The guild leads the guild. The Guild leader and officers administrates the guild. We build and evolve together.
  • All members' opinions and voice are equal. Speak your mind and play the way you want is a requirement. No one is forced to do anything!
  • Minimum 20 years old to join.
  • Playtime requirements: At least a few hours, a few days a week. We have players online around the clock. As long as you are playing, it does not matter when. No one gets kicked for low play time during work/study. We got very happy parents who enjoy the guild when they are able to play.
  • Interest in ESO: You like ESO even with bugs. You see yourself playing ESO for a long time.
  • We use the homepage and forum to communicate and set up events etc. All members are required to sign up and read, understand and follow our 4 rules. (yes, just 4).
What players we are looking for
  • Active players who want a guild with good people to play with, in your way, without drama.
  • Who wants a mid size guild - not a big guild, or an elite guild. You know your members and your play style is up to you.
  • Who wants freedom, not requirements. Only options and possibilities. You are part of evolving the guild.
  • New players to ESO, who likes the game a lot, who wants one guild to stay in. We welcome new ESO players, their ideas, and help with questions as well as team up with our alts.
  • Veteran MMO players who have done it all, seen it all, and just want to enjoy ESO, with good company.

How to apply
If you are interested in our guild, please check The Nephilim home.
PM me, look us up in game at @kurnn, or submit an application on our site.

Welcome to our home in Tamriel!

EDIT: Neeeveerrrrmindddd.... my brain failed to take into account that you guys are on the EU server, so we could never be friends :(

With Patch 1.4 coming up, we have room for a few more players who enjoys the game. Your level is not that important, but if you are a soloing Vet 1-7 and have not found the "right" group to team up with, we might be the answer.

We are between 25-55 in age and welcome "veteran" oldes ;-)

We are still a relaxed guild, but been doing regular Vet Dungeon runs, both PvP and PvE in Cyrodill and got a group of new players to MMO and ESO who explores Tamriel along with some of our alts.

If you want a long term home, where your opinion matters and guild chat is active but has no drama, look me up in game, or check our homepage.

Are we the guild for you?
Do you listen/read quests? Do you enjoy exploring and group with people you know and can trust? Tired of big guilds where you don't know anyone?
    Then yes.

Do you want the fastest way to Vet 12?
    Then no.

ive just started this game have recently migrated from lotro and was fortunate to see a recruitment text which sounded interesting and just what i was looking for and after a nice long chat i got an invite and its exactly as it says on the tin everyone is friendly and extremely helpful both with advice and in game and i would heartily recommend this guild to vets and newbies like myself alike.

I've been in this guild for nearly a month and have to say of the guilds I've been in for both this game and other MMO's this is by far the friendliest, enjoyable and supportive guild I've found.

For me the latter of those points is the most importnant. Coming to this game nearly 5 motnsh in meant that many and most of the guild were already Vet level or close so I found myself the sole newbie. Despite this the members crafted me armour (only lowbie I saw running around in level 10 Daedric armour and weaponry) but also jumped at requests to help with spots that proved difficult and they actively encouraged me to do dungeons with them as the rest of the group.

A month down the line and I can't imagine myself playing this game with any other group. I'm only mid way to Vet level (I spend more time exploring and chatting on chat rather than questing) but I know I'm not short on help or friends to enjoy the journey with no matter how slowly I progress.

Also I think they are the only ones patient enough to put up with my jokes.
"Wonderful! Time for a celebration... Cheese for everyone! Wait, scratch that. Cheese for no one. That can be just as much of a celebration, if you don't like cheese. True?" - Sheogorath

    We're open for recruitment.

Since launch, there has been an interesting split among 2 types of players.
Those who play ESO and those who don't.

We are looking for the former.

    We are recruiting!

New players as well as experienced, who haven't found a guild where other then someone throws you an invite and then have no clue who you are?

You level or experience in ESO does not matter. You need to be pact, play on EU server and nuts! Might *** off some veteran players but interesting enough...newer players to ESO as well as MMOs....seams to find ways "us oldies" didnt consider ;-).

As an American living in Munich, the whole crazy American thing is an amusing stereotype and, like all stereotypes, accurate to a degree.

If you will indulge me for a paragraph or two, I'll tell you what I've had trouble with in guilds and ask how your guild addresses them. I'm sure they are as common as guar though.

My problem is likely due more to the game than the guilds. Been in several, all of them populated with wonderful people. But it's difficult to engage if you're not able to hang around for long periods because nothing is ever planned.

People logon and then the pleading and the begging starts to form groups. This is mostly due to ESO's group play, outside of Cyrodiil, being essentially a LAN game rather than a client/server game. It's meant to challenge accomplished teams of usually four souls following the holy trinity of post World of Warcraft online games. Thus the groups are not only small, they're difficult to create with a reasonable chance of success.

    This can get quite interesting.

One night a guild I belong to held a Craglorn Dungeon night. Huge turnout. Wonderful, witty chatter on TeamSpeak as we gathered and grouped up. Then came the comic moment as folks kept trying to enter a dungeon, witness a loading screen, and then found themselves still outside. Only groups of four can enter because the dungeons, oddly, can adjust to fewer than four but not more than four, making this an MO not an MMO.

We were quickly put into four player groups....lots of battlefield promotions of course which made it fun in the end after a shaky start.

I went to your site and saw the prime result of this: an empty calendar. Yet I've never seen an ESO guild with a full one.

How does your posse put together group play on a regular basis?

    Many thanks, Cogo :)

    Greetings.

Interesting questions and nice to see a player research guilds that they looking for and know what they want.
Our guild differs from most in a few ways. Our style is the players. Not their characters. We are good people who got lots of different play styles. The base of the guild is freedom. Play as you want and whenever you want.

Even though I am the Guild Leader, every member in the guild is part of evolving the guild. Any members voice is equal to mine.

This way we build the guild like we want, with the underline "we". Not just a click select people.
The officers are members who have assigned areas and execute what the guild wants to do.
Officers are the only members who "have" to do something ;-).

We have members who played since launch with sometimes months of not playing in between. We got very good pvpers and "end game" players. We also have old fashion casuals, Altoholics or players who have specific interest such as playing the economy, solo or look good. The guild is a home, who don't care when you come and go, what you do what how well you do it.

The single common factor among our members is that they feel at home. Whatever the other members does, they are your guild friends.

We create possible events, groups, chats or whatever we like. At times we plan. At times its ad-hoc and at times not much going on.

The effect of our guild style is long term. There is always something going on and if there isn't, like around this time when most players are waiting for Update 6, or already have done everything, our guild does not fade away by "nothing".

Since our guild have so many different play styles and interest, that has shown an interesting side effect. Whatever you want, someone in the guild has or can help with.

One main danger for most guild is just that members loves it when stuff going on, but are quick to leave when it doesn't. Since launch, we had very few members leave the guild for another guild. Players do leave the guild but it is to quit the game. Sadly, that simply how MMOs work.

Regarding our calender, please look at the history to find how we plan events. Note. Our calender is used for planned events. Burt since everything is optional, events may or may not happen. Lately, we make stuff from guild chat, leaving the calender for now.

A good way to see our style of guild is to check the front page. It tells the story of the guild since start.

Even though we offer all kinds of events, we are based on freedom, which means that sometimes there simply is nothing planned or going on since there is not enough interest for it.

If you are looking for a guild that have set events on a weekly bases, that is not us. We might have it but not something you can count on.

What you will do in the guild is up to you. The guild offers you possibilities and tools, but if there is something you would like to do, do not wait for someone to invite you. ;-)

I read some of your comment history here on the eso forums. An addicted forum discussion player just like myself!

Feel free to PM me here or on our webpage if you got more questions. Or look me up in game.

I deeply appreciate your thorough and thoughtful reply, Cogo.

Although you may say, and I do not doubt, that every member of your guild has an equal voice, you are very much the leader of a guild that has managed to work with both his members and the challenges presented by this specific game.

Many thanks! Chat with you in-game :)

Edit: I know you said it was unnecessary to apply on your guild site but I did anyway :p

We are open for recruitment for new and current players who wants a guild to call home.
We have been here since launch last year, with the same style. Family size guild.....not a big guild where no one knows anyone.

    Be adviced...
No kids....no drama and play like YOU want.
Our guildchat goes from making dungeon teams, Crafting discussions, Lore questions, too warfare in cyro and scare the bananas out of wood elves.
