So I have been an elder scrolls fan since I first played oblivion, I played oblivion for a very long time as well as skyrim. So having played said games before I know how this series works and that this game is for more or less the long term player rather than the short term player looking to rush to the end.
So when ESO came out I heard nothing but negative and horrible things about it so i had decided to hold off and wait it out. As of a week ago I decided to take the plunge and purchase the game and some gametime to get going. I however did not buy the imperial edition so I am not sure if that will hinder my gameplay experience or not. So I am currently leveling a DK on the DC alliance and just hit level 20. I do work alot so I dont get to spend as much time as I would like in game.
So I guess my concern here is do I continue to play or am I just wasting my time and money. The reason I ask is either I am way slow at leveling or leveling over all just takes awhile, but then I was looking into getting started with the crafting process until I heard that researching traits is a very long and daunting process, we are talking months and what good as a crafter are you if you dont make gear with traits? So I mean is this game at all worth the time and effort that it obviously requires?
I come from wow playing almost 10 years and as we all know this game is very different and really has nothing to compare. But I mean these updates and patches they seem to be pushing out is it making the game any better than it was before, is it worth the money every month to keep playing? Am I going to hate the game without the Imperial edition? Like what are your thoughts and suggestions for a brand new player??
I thank you for taking the time to read this and hopefully I get some feedback on what you guys think!!!
