Btw, i bought this very ring from the person who listed it earlier today, he's a good friend of mine.

And here's a message from him, he doesn't have a forum account:

I searched signets for two weeks for a friend and last Saturday i found three v11 signets in guildstores for 30k each. Two from the same player.
To offer it for such a ridiculous price was more an experiment to see if someone really pay that much. That it went to the forum was not planned. I also didn't wanted to make some future signet prices with this. It was not sold for 444.444 and i cancelled it after i seen it in the forum. The 350.000 signet that was offered yesterday was the same. I gave it to Maotti now for the price i paid. :P

I hope they change the drop rate again. Maybe it was too common before. You could buy a signet for 25k. But now they are way too rare. Do something Zenimax! "

Whatever the reasoning behind the change, should make it obsolete in a forward manner rather than trying to remove it from the game through rarity and player turnover.

But they aren't trying to remove it from the game. I mean, if they were, they'd say it wasn't dropping at all. It has just been intentionally made incredibly rare for a reason they don't want to reveal. Some kind of prep for the champion system revamp, maybe? Who knows! Perhaps only Sheogorath.

It's fine if they want to change the drop rate, but yes, they should be transparent about their intentions, and not admit that why yes, they did indeed change something with a sly wink and a smirk, thereby causing irritation or perhaps unhinged rage.

The drop rate is broken. 5.6k people viewed this thread and no one can confirm a V12 drop. It is effectively not dropping. We all ask that you return the drop rate to a normal rate.

With so many people looking to buy one, maybe, just maybe zen should possibly look into why? Because if absolutely everyone feels the need for such a magica generator, something isnt balanced well.

Because it's the only 5 piece light armor set that has BOTH necklace and rings besides the Magicka Furnace (which is garbage).

After not being able to find any more Warlock rings (I posted above already as well), I also noticed on a lower level character which I play at the moment (level 47), that I cannot find ANY ring anymore either.

I still have the old Warlock rings equipped (level 19 and 20 and a level 23 Warlock necklace, at level 47!!) since I cannot find any matching stuff at all. All the non-set rings are below the amount of magicka or magicka recovery which the low level Warlock items give me, so it's never being enough.

But, I'm close to VR1 now, then I can wear the 3 VR1 pieces which I kept in my Nightblade's inventory. At least.. All I have to do is to level up to VR1 BEFORE meeting Molag Bal again, then I might have a chance to defeat him.

But I still don't know about where to get any other magicka based (set-) rings for any level, though.

That's another problem for a different day. They know this game has balance issues. If this is a ham-fisted attempt to address that, I'd... no, that would be ridiculous.

Just get the Healer neck/rings & be done with it. If you're using 5 warlocks at max level you're doing something wrong anyways.

As for rings droping on trash, I highly doubt it's the case since it means we would see more of those. The fact is, I've never seen an Epic VR13 Warlock ring in the game and the rings used to drop on AA bosses in PTS.

Your loot tables must be wrong @MSchroeder or the drop rate is 0,0000001% because we haven't seen any on sale or on someone since 1.4 went live.

Most likely someone who did an AA run at level VR11, looted the ring and never sold it, then decided that VR11 can sell now since they don't drop anymore and put it up for 444K

What I would like to know is whether there are VR14 Warlock items. I've never seen any, but have been told by two people that they exist -- they didn't own the items so couldn't show them to, just claimed to have seen them. I realise that they wouldn't be that much better than the VR12 items I have, but I'd still rather have that little bit extra.

Hm, sounds like I was icredibly smart to not get rid of my old vet 1 Warlock jewelry - gave it to my baby DK now that she's reached vet xD

Not everyone actually wears Warlock, and at top level a lot of people go just for jewelry because there isn't that many 3-pc jewelry sets in game. But yeah, if it's not dropping any more, that's kind of sad. Can't confirm nor deny it since I don't run Trials.

Still have yet to hear of anyone looting a warlock signet from AA since ZOS' comment on the issue. This "intentionally low" drop rate is so far through the floor it's not even funny.

I hit AA about 15 times since that post. The only thing I got were 4 white armor pieces and one green amulet from mobs.I really think they are just pulling our leg with the "intentionally low" drop rate.

At this point this is how I see it.
Guy A: Lets get rid of the warlock rings
Guy B: People will notice if the ring is removed and start asking questions.
Guy A: What if we lower the drop rate beyond the probability bound and when they ask us about it we can just say... "The ring is still droppable we just lowered the rate".
Guy B: Brilliant

Ring removed from the loot table = current drop rate of the ring. They are effectively the same thing. That tells me it's either bugged or we are being misled. Hopefully it is just bugged.

6.8K views and no one can confirm a V12 dropping...

I can confirm VR1 rings dropping in vet zone 1 solo dungeons. I had two rings drop almost one after the other. Collected 3 rings total in a two day period.

Seems to be just the VR12 rings that is the issue in my case.

Your friend is at it again, on the Eu server in rawl'ka, next to the wayshrine i saw he posted a v12 ring this time, on sale for 450 k. I decided not to post a screenshot. If it get sold i hope somebody will, for history's sake,
