Signet (Ring) of the Warlock

I went out yesterday to farm "The Warlock Set" and I was particularly interested in the "Signet (Ring) of the Warlock" I started out in the public dungeon in my V1 sone and the robe dropped in the first kill. I thought to my self, this will be easy. A few hours later I had the Cowl, Shoulders, Robe x 2 Focus x 2 but no Ring. Am I just being unlucky? Or is this more seldom, or drop elsewhere then the rest of the set? Anyone else got the "Ring" lately?

The rings tend to be a harder find.
This was definitely true of the VR12 gear. The rings for this set were normally much harder to come across and the price was roughly x3 more compared to the other pieces

Thanks for answering, the only thing I need to know is that it still drops of monsters. I had good fun yesterday farming public dungeon and usual dungeons and bosses. So if the ring is harder to get than the other pieces that's fine as long as there is a chance for it to drop at all. I was also trying to trade the Robe and the Focus for one ring without luck.

Now I want to sell the Focus and the Robe I don't need, what would be a fair price for a piece except the ring? On the EU server by the way.

That's the answer I was afraid of , I wonder if any admin here on forum can take a look into this, at last confirm if it drops or not so I don't have to spend hours farming it vain. I am going to spend another evening trying to get the ring and report back.

After the price went through the roof on the V1 Warlock Rings I spent a lot of time trying to farm up some for my Templar. 3 hours a day for a 2 week period now. I haven't seen a single drop.

It was only today that I was able to equip my alt with them. One seller in zone chat wanted 2k for one. When I logged in later in the evening, there was a seller wanting 7k. Although that's far more than what I'd paid to equip 2 other characters (500 per ring about a month ago), it's still less than the seemingly common 10k per ring that I've seen in kiosks.

I believe something is very wrong with the drop rate for this particular item.

That's very sad to hear, I hope if any admin on here are reading, can you give us some feedback on this issue? At last confirm if it drops at all or not. If its more rare than the other pieces its fine, just need a confirmation.

Wow, this is good to know. I have a VR1 signet of the warlock stored away, but this sounds like a good time to sell it instead of waiting till I have the complete set to offer.

Well if you rather try to buy another ring you will have the complete set within a few hours because the other pieces drops pretty often. On the other hand if your on the EU server I would like to buy it from you

A bump on this. Looking for more clarification. If the set has been stealth nerfed this is a rather large change for late comers who will be disadvantaged if they want the set.

Related question - the set didn't used to have gloves and belt, did it? Were they added with one of the more recent patches?

I have never seen a drop on gloves or belt, Cowls, Robe and Shoulders only and they drop often along with the Focus

I do hope its not, but hope a developer or an admin on here can confirm or give some information on this. I'm on my second day farming now and no luck on the Ring, also would be useful if others cold confirm drops on the lvl 15 - 20 and the VR10 - VR12 Ring

I have been looking and asking in zone chat for a v12 warlock ring and the only one i found was for 100 k in craglorn

And no, i did not buy it... That is my questmoney for the last 300 quests

Could you comment on this, is it intended? If zenimax stops the supply of a item, the prices will skyrocket, funny for the people that have said item stocked, not for the rest of us that finally have quested to vr 12

I would by the ring for 3x the price but nobody even has one to cell anymoreeee

The V12 version dropped on any trial boss and supposedly on COH.

Two people in my guild have been going to all the merchants every day trying to find the VR12 warlock rings. No luck for at least a week now. I think the drop rate is borked.

@Ipool96 .... There are other pieces for that set now. I just bought VR12 warlock boots a couple weeks ago and I believe I have seen the belt for sale as well. I was a happy camper when I discovered this.

...which public dungeon(s) can you farm the VR1 set? any of them or one in particular?

No comment from ZOS as usual. If they remove the rings from the set, now, they alter the versatility of the set significantly. For newcomers and new alts it's just not worth using the set at all without the rings.

After asking in my trade guild I was told they were removed from the loot table. All versions*(*v1 is confirmed to drop see post below). I was not linked to any official statement, but it certainly seems to be the case. Considering how many people are looking for these from vendors and zone chat this really needs a statement.

I got two Rings from random drops around Stonefalls (my VR1 zone, and not in the public dungeon), so they definitely drop but they're probably very rare.

On the other hand, I had to wade through Crow's Wood several times to find the Robe... and haven't got the Epaulets yet.

Exactly. If they are trying to prevent the 5/5 build then they need to remove them completely from the game, not just stop the drops.

in the last two weeks, I haven'r run across a signet in craglorn, AA or hel ra. Neither has over 30 guild mates that run v12-14.... seems like they get nerfed or erased from drop tables... whats going on?

The key word is "if". Now we don't have an official statement from ZOS whether this was intended or accidental or if they nerf the drop. Getting ahead of yourself there mate.

I hope it's not intended. If the 5/5 is over powered then removing the ring from the loot table just insures that those who are already overpowered remain overpowered while those who are not are barred from ever achieving the same level.

I'm pretty sure the v12 ring does not exist in the loot tables anywhere at the moment.
