✭✭✭✭✭I stay and play Update 5To me, WoW is a cute kids game. It was my "gateway drug" into MMOs and even when it was all new to me my basic reaction most of the time was, "Awww... this is ADORABLE!" But as soon as I heard Age of Conan was in development, I dropped WoW and never looked back. Sadly, AoC broke my heart after 5 years of struggling along with it thanks to the horror inflicted on it in the form of their idiot game director, Craig. Indeed, I still possess an unreasoning hatred of that man. Thus began my quest for a new game. SWTOR is still too cute for my taste though I did enjoy it for awhile. EvE is awesome on many levels but not my style and since I can NEVER give their company another dime after what they did to World of Darkness (namely utterly destroying it so that it will NEVER see the light of day) that didn't last for me either. I became hopeful when I heard ESO was in development and I really love a lot about it. But unless they start paying some attention to their roleplayers, niche group that we may be, and start working to improve immersion and the ability to craft characters we WANT to play and do it SOONER rather than later... my quest for a new game may start all over again. Right now I am in wait and see mode... but if a smexy new game comes along that seems like it MIGHT give me what I've been looking for so long... This will give ZOS time to hopefully fix some stuff and I can come back in the new year some time when they have hopefully fixed a few more things.Far too many characters to list any more.2 -

WoW has an aged and decrepit engine and game-play that hasn't changed since 2004. All they're doing is adding more fluff to disguise their one-trick pony. I mean sure that pony was entertaining in its day, but that was a decade ago. The new Zones, Stories and Instances are more than enough to enjoy once again the time there. Modern gaming? ESO is no modern Gaming. I mean, come on. My Lvl 18 Warrior in WoW has more Skills and more Synergies between them, than Eso can offer with VR14, cause you are always limited to a console Gameplay.WoW has an aged and decrepit engine and game-play that hasn't changed since 2004.
