I understand the reason(s) behind limiting character deletion, and I suppose it may have helped with reducing or eliminating gold spammers, etc. However, it's *extremely* frustrating to those of us who care about the appearance of our characters! I literally spent the first 30 days of my game-time just trying to get a character that looked satisfactory (to me). Now, I want to try another class, but I'm right back to trying to get an acceptable character appearance, and there's the deletion limit again... causing me to be unable to continue playing the game.
What's the issue? Characters do not look in-game the same as they do in character creation. (And I must mention, too, that it would help tremendously if an eye swatch that is white actually resulted in white eyes! This is only one example of issues.)
What's the solution? Remove the deletion limit. Ah, but the limit was implemented in response to player complaints, and you don't want to remove that now and have unhappy players, right? Well, there are still unhappy players *because* of the limit... and the issues with character creation appearance.
So, I suggest and request, on behalf of all the players who want a fix for appearance:
(1) Fix character creation so characters look in-game like they do in character creation.
(2) Fix character creation so appearance results match color swatches.
(3) Give us a way to change appearance in-game, after creation! And the last is the most important of the three.
I've played a lot of MMORPGs, with satisfactory gold/spam reduction/elimination measures in place, and I've *never* seen a deletion limit before ESO. It's highly annoying, and it results in my being unable to play. .... If you're going to limit deletions, then we really should have a way to change appearance after creation. And it shouldn't be something we have to pay (real money) for.
-- Thanks for your time, and I hope fixes will be implemented *soon*.
