Enchanting hireling, dont recive kuta

Is the hireling for Enchanting nerfed last month or so, i havent recived any Kuta this last month... I logg on to all 3 chars 2 times a day, and i get the mail. Got like 60 rekuta (purp) during this time but no kuta (yellow)...

Anyone else noticed this?

Waited for 1.4 to se if they said anything about it in the patch notes.

(have 3 char with enchanting 35 or higher, one of them is at lvl 50, and ofc 3 skillpoints in "hirelingskill" for them all

I have still been receiving Kuta's frequently(EU Server), so yes, it is still working, you have just been very unlucky.

Hopefully your luck changes soon!

urgh......for the last time. Kuta is rare. Yes it still drops. If you not had one for a while your having a bad run on the RNG.
It also drops from nodes out in the world.

Don't know why this is dragged up every few weeks.

@Sindala‌ It keeps getting dragged up because up until recently, there actually was a bug where people without points in Aspect Extraction wouldn't get Kuta in Hireling mails. See, e.g., this comment where ZOS basically admitted to the bug.

People who really should have been getting Kuta, especially people with a lot of hireling-mule characters without other passives in Enchantment, kept coming to complain, and folks who had Aspect Extraction kept assuming it was working for everyone just because it was working for them, which made the whole thing take a while to really get nailed down.

It's probably patched with 1.4, though, since Aspect Extraction isn't even a thing any more.

My first hireling email had a Kuta in it, the second had a Rekuta. Since then it has been a mix of white, blue and purple Aspects. Have not gotten another Kuta since, but I have only had the hireling for about 10 days.

Sometimes I think it is just rng weirdness. I have more Kuta from my hireling than I know what to do with. Conversely I practically never get any dreug wax from my clothier. It's all just random.

My own findings of Kuta has dropped severely last month. I finally got a Kuta on an Aspect node yesterday, but I estimate I checked some 500 nodes to get it. In which I've had 90% Ta and the other 10% a mix of Jejota, Denata and Rekuta.

I used to write down my findings. In the beginning of the game Kuta dropped roughly 1/100 nodes. Later it became 1/200 and today I'd say I'm down to 1/500. Nothing of this in any patch notes so I guess it's what you call a 'stealth-nerf'. People often say it's RNG, but I don't believe that. Besides, since it's made by humans, there's never been a RNG that isn't biased in some way.

If this was purely up to a RNG-generator, how come then my low level characters get alot more higher Aspect Runes than my main Enchanting toon who has level 42 in that disipline?

Nerfing drops is a standard and half desperate measure in most mmo's and a way to try keep players longer in the game. Personally I think it only works for a few whilst others will get frustrated and tired of waiting and quit instead.

When there was the 1 gold a skillpoint reset thing, i didnt put any points back in to aspect extraction. So it have been longer than a month then... But just noticed it a month ago.

Maybe, but the last passive now increases the probability of getting any of the three types of rune. So it might be that you need to invest in that, or it might be, as you say, that they've fixed it.

Just to be specific, you can only get the Runes that would make up the Glyph in the first place.

Kuta are bugged for a lot of people. I have received over 120 enchanter hireling mails without a Kuta. Most people in my guild are getting 1-2 a week.

There was another thread on here a week ago with 15-20 people saying that they haven't seen a Kuta in 2 months.

Kutas are bugged for some people. Devs need to look into this. I suggest everyone that is suffering from this issue, do a /bug report.

This is because there are people who will open then node and if they don't like what is in it they leave it and move on. This causes there to be a ton of Ta and even Jejota and very few of the better nodes.

I get one like every 2-3 days on my main enchanter character. Sometimes I'll get 1 a day for a couple days and others I'll wait 3-4 days before seeing one again. Pretty hit/miss, but RNG is a ***.

If you dont have your enchanting passive 3/3 for extraction you will not get any Kuta.. This has been discussed in other threads and tested myself using 2 max level enchanting tunes. 0/3 extraction will yield 0 Kuta in hireling mails; However once 3/3 the next mail or two will have at least 1 kuta in it.

Thank u for this, and the rest of u that replyed. Its still the same with the new passive as well. Didnt put any Points in until 1 week ago. Now i have gotten 2 kuta. So i missed KUTAs for like 3 months, big drop in economy and crafting... They should really make this more clear.

Did you put extraction all the way to 3/3 before you saw any kutas? Just curious.

Have all passives.
On one character used to average 2 Kuta per week from Hireling.
I haven't seen even 1 in 3 weeks.

Seems like a lot of drop rates are pretty borked.
Have seen very few set prices dropping the last couple weeks as well.

Still receiving Kuta on a frequent basis. I mean, I don't get them daily. But once or twice a week, there is one in the mail.

I created a Enchanting Hireling just after the 1.4 patch that changed Enchanting. I went to L3 a couple of days after the patch (yay increased insp for extractions). Anyway, first mail was a Kuta, and for the following 2 weeks, I would get 1 to 2 Kuta's a week, the rest a mix of Purples, Blues and Greens (and a few Ta's). Weekend before last I was getting one Kuta a day, one day I got two, so 6 total over a 5 day period. After that, for a about a week I did not get any Kuta's but some Purples and Blues and Greens. Then a couple of days ago I started getting one Kuta a day again.

So, the RNG is working for me, quite nicely.

I have 6 3 point mails twice a day. I usually get between 2-6 Kutas daily. Working fine for me.

I cannot complain about hireling Kutas, but I haven't found any of them for months. I harvest everything I see, with all my characters.

No one can tell me that this is just RNG.

I get the occasional Kuta from Farming, in the last two weeks, I have found about 2. I don't farm Runes that much, just the ones I see as I go along.

I do think you have better luck with finding Kuta's in Zone 4 to 5 rather than the first two or three zones.

I don't find Kuta very often when harvesting, but I have found a few the past month. There seems to be a higher chance to find them in Cyrodiil delves than in regular delves.

Also, keep in mind now in testing mode on the PTS, are the new crafting writs. I just finished completing my first enchanting writ today and part of my reward was an enchanting survey. The particular survey I received took me to Coldharbour and I was able to harvest 2 Kutas among several other runes. Keep in mind this is still in testing as part of Patch 1.5 on PTS, but it appears doing enchanting writs may be another source for Kuta in the future.

Kutas are dropping. I usually get a couple every week from my only enchanting hireling. I also farmed several in the last week. I even got a few while fishing. It's all about that wicked RNG. You feeling lucky, punk?

I have tested it. Got Aspect Extraction maxed on 2 of my characters. They frequently receive kuta and rekuta.

I have 2 characters w/o Aspect Extraction and only hirelings 3/3. They aren't getting a single aspect rune.

So no, this is not rng. It's a bug. Not sure if it was "fixed" ZoS style or if it's getting fixed in 1.5?

I gotten plenty, 3 point hireling, but I don't track how many. I mouseover the mail quickly and saw one not too many days ago.
