Its almost like vampire shouldnt be a straight upgrade or something. You had your time in the spotlight, its time Werewolves had some fun.

Well , first from what people seem to be saying WW didnt really get a good buff or anything.

Second , they better pray to heavens they dont get anything that good. Vampires with the fire issue people already actually believe are still a bonus lols , WW not like the vampire pretty much doesnt add issues , so that means it will be much easier for people to bash on it till zen nerfs it also.

I think he means that its about time Vampires suck and that Werewolves need ot start being super F*ing OP so that everyone will play that instead, cause fair is fair right.

He's saying that becoming a vamp was pure upgrade, instead of something you had to actually work at making good. Pure improvement out of the box.

I personally think both WW and Vamps should be awesome. I am a fan of both *gasp* haha! Both should very well be superior to normal races, that just makes sense.

While i do agree that its about dam time WW got some love, in turn I dont think its right to nerf the crap out of Vamps either. Im sure i have an odd opinion on the matter versus most on forums at least. I do find the hate for Vamps annoying. Though it would be the same if it were reversed as well.

    Both should be equally awesome.

Sorry OP i just couldnt wrap my head around that first line lol!

I think this is the problem in a nutshell. People who dont PVP, like myself get very annoyed when stuff gets nerfed. I have never heard an NPC complain that I am OP.

Maybe separate characters for PVE and PVP? That way PVErs dont get nerfed just because a PVPr complained.

WW doesn't need to be in the spotlight. All that'll happen is complaints followed shortly by nerfing.

Vampires shouldn't have been, in the first place, and only were because of people building super powerful ultimate generation builds that caused people to want to take away the result of their work, rather than the tools that let them build it in the first place.

(IE: I took away the house you built but left you with the tools to build a new one, rather than taking the tools away from you)

I'd like to be able to have a lightly roleplayed character that happened to have contracted vampirism while tending to soldiers in battle without feeling like I'm constantly being punished for it, or looked at as one of "them" for choosing it.

Vamps have or had rather two things that work well, Bats and mist form.

Bats is always the first skill that comes to mind as it's powerful, and lets face it in the early days of PvP, if you stood in a swarm and didn't get out, you were dead! I don't think I'm alone on that one. Now it will be weaksauce, which really leaves mist form as the only good skill to have and that's pretty much the escape option for a vamp.

You can stack mist form with annulment, and it becomes a serious mitagator, drop veil on a flag, annulment and then mist and watch everyone fall down dead to a smaller degree, so vamps now have one good skill... 1!

And then there are the negatives which include, fire resistance (easy to kill vamps in PvP with flame lash and fire ring spammers not to mention fire balistas, and then there is the lousy health recovery which I know is helped out with the low health recovery kick that vamps have, but still it's poor by comparison. Vamps haven't been the resource generating machine for some time now, it's the impulse monkeys with bats that have been the issue.

Don't believe me on the health recovery btw, check your own stats for health recovery and then ask anyone you know that is a vamp what their health recovery is, I'll bet they are around the mid teens... which is lousy.

Lets have a look at the nerfs to vamps though shall we?

    Nerf to Bats volume 1
Nights Silence stacking with Vamp speed nerf
    Nerf to Bats volume 2
Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

Im more upset about annulment than the vampire stuff. The annulment change hurts my heavy armor build more than my light armor build.

It shouldnt be a straight upgrade. Meaning that it shouldnt be all powerful and should have its downsides and nerfed and buffed accordingly. A huge AOE that heals you depending on how much it hit was a little over the top.

Skills OP and/or usefull in PvP are not always OP and/or usefull in PvE. PvP fucused players are more competitive and thus complain more, devs often hear them and adjust skills to their liking, which has impact on PvE players as well, despite there being no problem with the skill in PvE envirimoment.

I don't think you know what sarcasm is. Unless the remark was sarcasm, which would make this rather weird.

The constant nerfs happening in this game are making it a joke. Perhaps it is time to take a long break once my days are up. See if they can come around and actually fix crap instead of breaking it more. My enjoyment level is greatly dwindling with a lot of their recent and upcoming changes.
Far too many characters to list any more.

:p mate , ok , now start to list the fire skills people use.

Dont try to compare the issues mate , it is rather silly lols.

No, its not....some people don't PVP you know...
For those of us who don't PVP...there is no reason to nerf anything. This is a PVP problem. ZOS needs to leave my PVE character out of it.

I believe the point is, the nerfing party to the PVE community because of PVP is annoying. Actually, its more than annoying. Quit breaking one for the other. The game isnt just for PVP'ers yet when they complain things get screwed with. And then they complain some more.

Werewolves will soon be at the point where transformation isn't a death sentence. That's not really anything special. Normal players are in the lunch line, Vamps are getting their all-you-can-eat-pizza buffet taken away, and Werewolves are getting 'reduced lunch' as opposed to no lunch as was previous.

I'm struggling to find a reason to load any vamp skills on my Dw/resto Nb. Bats? Nope veil is better. Mist form? Meh. The life drain? Was good while leveling up, never use it at high level. So basically I get a fire debuff and I'm faster in stealth. I would like to see another three vamp actives for us to use.

Welcome to the reason eventually vampires will be completely useless :p.

In the end there is a limit to how many skills you can take in combat at once and the vampire ones are already not that great when compared to the others.

When the spellcrafting hit the game , if it really add many different skills , then probably being a vampire will be just a bag of debuffs you could avoid and use skills just as effective.

So you don't want any non vamp or ww players in the game at all?

You would not feel special as a vamp if half the players were and the other half wolves.

It can't be more powerful than bad race, or it's no longer an option, it's required.

I'm guessing people who think like this, are not from multiplayer competative gaming backgrounds.

PVPers are not the minority. And I am sure it would be real nice to have an instant "I WIN" button in pve because mobs are unable to complain about being eviscerated by OP skills. It takes the pvp experience to bring these overpowerd skills to light. However it takes the pve crowd to whine about getting their "leet" skills nerfed.
