Odd Tech and Lore Question

I was thinking on an Argonian name -- See All Colors -- Guild Master of the fighter guild. Her name implies that most Argonians do NOT see all the colors, but instead see in only black and white.

It will fun and help to get into lore (if the above statement is true), if I can turn my color monitor in a B&W one.

1) How one does that in Windows 7 and / or for ESO?
2) Do Argonians really only see in B&W?

Thanks for your help.

1.) If you have an Nvidia video card, go to the Nvidia Control Panel and turn the "Digital Vibrance" setting down to 0%. That'll give you a black and white picture. Or, if your monitor has a saturation control built in you can lower that down to 0%.

    2.) I dunno.

I have an ATI card. I need to dig around in the control panel to figure how to do this with out changing the settings to much.

    Spoilers for Fighter's Guild questline
I think the reason she's called Sees-All-Colors is because she is a devout follower of Meridia whose plane of Oblivion is called the 'colored rooms' I've never seen anything indicating they can't see color, but it's a neat idea.

What if it's not that they see in black and white, but they see colors like dogs do, where they see only the colors green and blue (or combinations thereof). Or maybe it's like the mantis shrimp, where they can see colors humans can't see.

Just turn down the color levels (saturation it is usually called) on the monitor.

As for Argonians, most lizards can't see Red or Purple, but they are not color blind. Argonians in the game use colorful head gear and adornments so the colors would probably serve some purpose in their culture other than fashion with regards to this.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Legend has it that an Argonian's diet contains large amounts of Psilocybin.

Check out SweetFX, it's a program that allows you to do all sorts of things, even increasing the graphics in ESO. But you could use it to go B&W or just a certain color, pretty much anything. It also has a ton of pre-made templates.

SweetFX works with ESO? That's awesome! Have you had good results with it?

So far so good, there are some really good presets. I find it helps if you play EP, I was able to brighten up the zones so it didn't feel so depressing. There are some really good ones for smoothing edges and fixing flare etc... to give it a more realistic look.

I am thinking all exe file injectors are not allow in MMO games -- they use the same tech as cheating programs, thus it can be very easy mistake for cheating, a ban-able offence.
