Please don't just make delves bigger, make them more fun

So in the live-chat they mentioned that delves are getting bigger and more involved.

I hope they do more than just increase the size. Delves are actually pretty un-interesting and I was always happy about how short they were. Usually the boss at the end, the quest and skyshards are the only interesting things. The rest is just corridors filled with stationary mobs and crates of aged meat.

Occasionally, if you get lucky, you find a chest.

For what they were, delves don't need to be bigger. If you're going to make them bigger then at least include multiple boss fights and a greater chance at finding treasure chests (and heavy bags).

If they're going to be longer, make them more fun.

From what I've seen of the larger delves, or at least what I assume are the larger delves. They are actually more interesting, and feel like more of an actual environment, and less like a tiny amusement park ride.

Including multiple paths, and connecting corridors.

Though, obviously, if the content isn't fun to begin with, that might not be good news.

There are many more opportunities for chest and heavy sacks inside the larger delves. They are more interesting than a nascar race now. No more turn left, turn left, turn left, kill boss get shard leave.

    I am a fan

Of the new ones, my favorate is the Daedric dance club in Cold Harbour. There's two main paths in. One is... kinda clearly a service entrance, with the skyshard and some rocky corridors. The other side will take you in through a couple of rooms with soul shriven being tortured by forcing them to dance or perform for all time. The boss is hidden up in their office overlooking the place, so you have to go into one of the side rooms and up the stairs, across some catwalks.

Yeah, it took me a while to realize it's a dance club, but, really memorable once I saw it.

I never saw the place at launch, but I think that's new.

I prefer to solo public dungeons for this reason. If I am lucky, I can find one when no groups are actually in them and then just go in alone and go to town, lol. I wish either way that all delves (solo and public) were instanced so we could really get more bang for our time... but I don't think that will be happening any time soon.

Cyrodiil delves are great. Most have several bosses you need to kill to get achievements from the cave. Plus the added thrill of turning to see if it's a friend or enemy that just crystal sharded the boss you were solo-ing is a heart racing moment for sure.

Craglorn delves are intricate, but they are group only so if you are solo I guess that's a no go.

The improved delves around alliance zones are sweet too, more quests in them, and added bosses as well.

Sure I'd like to see more false bookcases or waterfalls you can swim through to access a secret area or something, but this isn't Sleep No More, and there's some very cool caves in game imho.

I think you mean "crates" and not "creates".

Also, I would like more nuance in general to improve fun factor in line with ES franchise; but I think this will happen over time. For example the justice system, stealing, theives guild, housing, all are nuances and hallmarks of ES games (at least the last three); and their absence is felt. More nuance in the treasure/loot area and dynamic mobs would go a long way; even with simple tweeks over time.
    Baskin Robbins always finds out.

The larger delves I have seen so far are very good. Not just bigger, but definitely more fun. I have finished most of the PvE content with several characters already, but I will probably go back to see what I would have experienced if I hadn't boarded this ship at launch.

Most of the original delves were an embarrassment. Uninspired, copy and paste rush jobs. The game is now starting to look ready for release, six months after the fact.
