weapon swap to only one weapon per assigned key

This might be more of an interface request, but is there any mods, makers that can make a it so you only weapon slot to weapon slot 1 or 2? in other words, if I have weapon 2 equipped and I hit "v", it swaps to weapon 1, and if I have weapon 1 equipped and hit "v" it stays on weapon 1? give how bad lag can be and frantic button clicking on certain bosses and fights, making sure I have either weapon slot 1 or weapon slot 2 equipped before using an ability is absolutely critical

When you want to swap weapons UI calls private function OnSpecialMoveKeyUp(SPECIAL_MOVE_INDEX_WEAPON_SWAP). Private function can't be called by addons, so I'm afraid that this will not be possible.
Try to request ZOS to add this feature (two new keybinds).

i thought that might be a good addon also. I hope Zos supports it soon ... my bars still dont swap half the time, i hit swap again out of reflex & i'm then on the wrong bar and probally dumping a critical resource.

As I should have guessed, people started thinking bots and macro keyboards would take over everything. Give a read and some support if you'd like.

I have found a way how it can be done. You will need ESO Launcher which has an option to enable using private and protected functions in addons (enabled by default) and this small addon to add keybindings: Weapon Swap.

However I'm not sure if ZOS will be happy with ESO Launcher...

Ah nice, I might try it out, though not sure if I like that ESO would have issues with sweetFX though.
