    I love everything about Craglorn
I love Craglorn. Grinders don't bother me. The quest phasing is no problem for me, as I always go to Craglorn with my guild and the quests we start at an evening, we also finish. I'm with a minority here, but I still love Craglorn.

I know it's group content but I don't like the mechanism where if I (a solo player) pull one mob that is miles away from all the others then they all come at me. If a mob is a long way from other mobs I should still be able to fight it, if I want to, without aggroing the whole area. In the same way I can in other areas.

I would like Craglorn if not for that. I like going there mining etc but it would be nice to be able to kill the odd thing as well (as a stealthy solo player) without this weird agrro everything mechanism.

THIS is exactly what my previous statement was referring to. This (Craglorn) content is SPECIFICALLY catered to them. It's completely fine. However, it leaves we (solo players) in the dark until there is an equal amount of content for we solo players.

I believe prior to releasing Craglorn, they should have also had some sort of solo content released as well. To prevent solo players from gaining anything further within the game without an option... I'm just not sure what they are thinking....

While I like some things about Craglorn, I also feel way too frustrated with it most times. Allies not being able to help with final bosses. Final bosses in dungeons being road blocks for group followed by the full dungeon/quest resetting as soon as you leave so you can't pickup and move on (Shada's Tear).

I'm not much of a grinder or raider, so that place is totally useless for me. My very selfish opinion is that it just takes resources from PVP development.

I was grinding Craglorn with my guild for weeks, doing the same stuff as 99% of the other players. One Saturday morning though, I was lucky enough to be in Teamspeak with 3 other guildies and we decided to try the "factory-shipped" (Lower) Craglorn experience.

And by "lucky", I mean only one of us had started into the quest chain (and not very far at that), we had a standard MMO party composition of 1 tank, 2 DPS and a healer, and all of us had the whole day open to play.

I really enjoyed the story, the Yokudan/Redguard lore, and finally getting the gist of what was going on in the zone. It was also cool to see what the anomalies, burial sites, delves and world bosses were meant to be - a part of the story/questing experience in the zone. It was almost shocking because for weeks most of these spots were nothing more to me than XP-generating punching bags for grind groups.

Our group had a great day in Craglorn, but alas, I fear that might be one of the few if not only chances to experience it in the intended way, due to 4 man requirements, phasing issues, etc., and I don't really see any of my alts getting that same opportunity.

I'm hoping that the next adventure zone, Murkmire, is being designed with all the feedback the players have given in mind.

@djyrb - I gave you an 'awesome' for your great write, and well told experience. You and I may play different gaming, however I see your point, and now have more respect for your type of playing.

I'm happy to read that you can see how you may have had a great/perfect experience, and yet also see how difficult it may be for other types of players. To that, I say cheers for an open mind my friend.

Actually I don't hate Craglorn but I do hate not being able to participate in the only new content they have released since launch.

I am perfectly willing to group but lousy grouping tools and limited play time mean I rarely get in a 4 person group and have no hopes of getting into a trials size group. So far I have done 2 quests and 3 delves since launch but would love to do more.

ZOS should not be group locking content unless they have the game to help people group.

Craglorn is a piece of flapping monkey crap that is a symbol of everything I hate in MMO's, forcing group-only endgame content and restricting crafting mastery to MMO athletes.

    Within; Without.

@1ne2woBe, thanks! I appreciate the "Awesome", and I hope you can get a chance to run it with a group, the story is engaging IMO and introduces new TES lore that I enjoyed. But as I said, it's difficult to find groups to run it as the devs intended - the XP gains from grinding are too good, and I don't fault anyone for taking advantage of that, as I do it myself. It seems like if you don't have willing friends/guild members to quest with you, or you prefer to solo content, you're out of luck and it's a shame.

That's why I mentioned I felt lucky that day, 4 of us happened to be on, in the same place in the quest chain, and had the time and desire to run it. Maybe not an Imperial motif drop degree of luck :), but I was definitely in the right place at the right time.

I hope something in a future patch is on the horizon for your tastes, and thanks again.
