That said, as somebody that groups with him regularly, I've seen him pick people off in the middle of a large group (both during fights & if they're just standing around) and then get away. As far as group fights go, it's all about focusing targets, using LOS, kiting, and having utility skills on the second bar. We've held our own against larger numbers plenty of times and it's pretty funny when a pack breaks off from a zerg only to find themselves whittled down to nothing but corpses. I find these kinds of fights way more enjoyable than running around in a zerg lagging the server.

Your second paragraph, is patently incorrect. DKs and Templars with the right spec, hell even some NBs, can absolutely run into a zerg or large group and hold their own. It's about having the correct class and set-up.

It's not about zerg diving either. With his set up, Shebali wouldn't last 60 secs in a duel or open 1v1 combat before he's out of stamina and then out of life. So it's all about what you're spec'ed to do.

What Huntler and Braidas took exception to, is Shebali's comment that it's a mistake not putting a lot into health cause if you don't it makes you a glass cannon. As I explained before the statement on its own is incorrect.

Anyhow it's a nice vid, like I said, and thanks to the OP for posting.

I'm not disputing you, but I'd like to see some videos of these kinds of fights. I've observed a few DKs, Temps, & NBs fight larger numbers & survive for awhile, but sooner or later the weight of numbers add up and they all die.

Duels are a completely different fight environment so I'd imagine Shebali would make some changes if he were to start dueling. But I've not seen him lose many non-scripted open world 1v1s.

Duels are different set-up, same as ganking. That's my whole point. No disputing what you say, but I'd also like to see some videos of unscripted 1v1 fights where he's not coming from stealth against any half-decent S&B DK or Templar. To see how that 1.1k stamina holds-up against anyone using roots and stuns and self-heals.

You change two moves for the NB you have endless mana and stam. So, 1.1k means nothing for the endless stand you can have with the NB. I never have a problem with having keeping up 800-1k dps with the lol spec nb.

Ah yeah, and you guys spouting bs about low HP players being scrubs have obviously never touched a real pvp game, where you cant hide in a group.

Playing a non-sneaky glascannon is far more demanding to playerskill than boosting passive defense since the margin for error becomes incredibly small and all damage mitigation has to be done by movement, awareness and reaction time.

Sad that someone who is relying on stealth killing his opponents from the horse is bragging about his skills when 90% of his opponents dont even have the chance to fight back due to broken mechanics.

I see zero skill in that video. Just abuse of gear setup.

Well, in that particular video the enemy wasn't trying to fight back. So yes, most players with the same spec will pretty much do the same thing I did.

Nothing special. Just simple pvp.

It kinda depends what you define as a zerg, doesn't it? I call a wave of players (usually 10+) as a zerg. Anyhow this bit is pointless in the discussion.

My argument is that no class can hold a pass or put a prolonged fight against 10+ players with 1.1k stamina. So if you're set up to tank, you need more stamina than you think. Which is challenging Shebali's argument that anyone with <3k HP is set up wrong and needs to be reminded of it. Different playstyle = different set-ups, that's all there is to it.

I'm not dissing shebali. I just disagree with his statement and provided reasoning why. There's plenty of evidence out there that support this.
