Yea it is horrible, last thing we need is more players who are horribad at their class. I put in a ticket 3-4 days ago with no reply. 5million XP per hour not an exploit? If they dont kill the little ones it respawns instantly?!?!?!

To the left of the Dragon Star Arena Wayshrine. You need at least 4 people and you all attack the boss at once. Don't kill the small scorpions and when you kill the boss you can hop up on the rock and it resets.

Its not against the CoC, EULA, Nor has the Devs stated not to use this... IN FACT they said its Perectly fine to grind here. So you can the rest of Dafunk should probably put your time to some better use, Like selling VDSA titles.

I have no problems with this because ZOS has forced players to group up in order to climb from VR10 to VR14. For the vast majority of players who cannot do this or who do not want to do this, they can either grind daily quests in Cyrodiil over many days or they can join an ad hoc grind group in Craglorn and crank out the levels in much less time.

ZOS should provide alternative and accessible methods of leveling or they should delete the carcasses after a minute or two.

They have sent out numerous emails reguarding the issue to concerned players about it, saying it was fine tpo grind here as long as your not using a 3rd Party Program or forcing the boss to spawn.

Yea, I see no problem with this. So people want a way to get to VR14 without doing step by step through Cadwell's Silver and Gold. ..who cares? Pick your battles. If anything, I am a twinge jealous.. I wish I had such a smooth grind to get VR14.. but alas, I am already there.

I am happy to see a way for folks to quickly get some XP. Does not hurt me one bit... as a matter of fact, it may help me having more people that can group at my level.

I read one of those e-mails. It said as long as "you are not triggering the boss to spawn rapidly" it's okay. Obviously you are triggering the boss to spawn rapidly, and so its an exploit... I don't even understand why you would attempt to argue the opposite.

The Dev's have done a pretty poor job communicating what is and what is not okay, something they admitted to recently.

We aren't actually selling VDSA titles, he was just joking around.

My only concern here is the damage to the economy, this grind drops way too much loot for the effort. It's much worse than shadow because the boss has no downtime. I like the quick way to get xp, but this should get fixed.

I'm kinda strange and actually enjoy questing and clearing maps to level. That said, I don't really have a grudge against people who farm spawns over and over. This, however, is more than farming. You're exploiting geometry to cause a boss to spawn ahead of it's timer.

Anyway, not my problem. If I were so inclined, however, I might gather a few like minded individuals and hunt those baby scorps

Might be amusing.

It doesn't make me mad they are doing it at all. Makes me mad that it's preferable to questing through ten vet zones to otherwise level up. For alts especially.

To respond to the, "How does it affect your game" crowd:

It affects my game in a number of ways.

1. Cheating or exploiting is bad. I think we can all agree on that. When one cheats or exploits bugs in the game, they are contributing to a negative behavior.
2. As pointed out, I have to play with these people. If they aren't used to actually doing their job in groups, I suffer directly.
3. One might as well ask, "How does it affect you if Jenny McCarthy gets paid to talk about vaccines while people with years of medical training are ignored?" It affects us all quite a bit, even though we can all ignore what she says.

And by the way, killing the smaller scorpions as is clearly intended by the designers isn't messing with anyone. It's playing the game. It's like when people would whine about actual questing going on in the Thief area. You don't get to whine when someone makes a mob respawn correctly.

The issue isn't the grind.

The issue is not killing the adds and then jumping on the rock to reset them, causing the boss to respawn every 10 seconds and drop loot every 10 seconds.

The boss spawns every 5 minutes after being killed. It's nearly 40,000 xp with the adds every 5 minutes and an entire field of scorpions to kill between mobs.

But they don't drop boss loot every 10 seconds. And, you know, that would require actually moving your character and not pressing 1 button for hours and hours, racking up millions of XP and TONS of boss loot.

Best way to help until it's fixed? Show up and help kill everything that spawns, as was intended. That's, unquestionably, a fair grind.

And be prepared for a lot of abuse if you do, lol.
