Wife and I did one of the solo-only instances yesterday. It was the Mages Guild quest where you face the big rat dude at the end of some mansion. Found it pretty easy with my NB, but my wife's DK was getting her rear end handed to her.

At my wife's request, took control of her character and completed what she could not. Still, it would have been preferable to simply be able to cooperatively complete the instance together.

OP, you DO realize most of these guys are just agreeing with you because you're a girl, right? They think that if they agree with you, they'll get laid for some reason.

As you can tell by my username, I'm also a girl. But "gamer chicks" like you irritate the hell out of me.

I'll give OP a fishy stick.
People keep telling me they're gonna buy me an ale. They never do.

    Dear TESO,

Just another quick note to tell you I'm still not regretting my purchase of your game, or the Imperial upgrade and Explorer's Pack. Last night saw me finally complete all the achievements on Khenarthi's Roost and so now I'm on my way to Auridon.

    I'm honestly
amazed by the amount and quality of the content and writing which has been integrated into this game. I love how some NPCs are just there to talk to, interact with, or listen to - adding a level of depth that's missing from other games. The three mercenaries in Mistral, for example. The Dominion representatives spreading their propaganda to the residents of Khenarthi's Roost. Nervous lovers and sneaky skooma dealers. The list goes on and on. There's a wealth of immersive material here that would go unnoticed if I just rushed through the game to get to the next level.

The best thing is that many of these conversations have nothing to do with me, the player. In fact, I love how the world isn't about ME. It's about them, because this is their home. And when I finally do save Khenarthi's Roost, and some of the NPCs start talking about me, it seems more immersive, more natural - and more of an accomplishment.

I can tell that someone put a lot of work into all of this content. I just thought you ought to know it's appreciated!

    Me. :)

P.S. My dual-wielding Nightblade is still holding her own. In fact, I opened the skills menu before logging off last night and noticed I had 3 skill points I still hadn't committed yet, so at Level 8, I'm not underpowered. Of course, towards the end, my enemies were several levels beneath me ...

Well it seems you didn't start during the month where their were so many bugs, quest blockers, etc and ESO still required you to pay a subscription fee during that time.

To boot your a level 8 and you haven't really fully experienced the game. Most of the content up to 50 is quite fun when compared to the Vetern rank and their are a lot of players in this game.

If there is one thing I pray you don't have its OCD. It's a *** when talking to NPC is Public dungeons was Sela, the dumb *** was wearing cinnamon perfume to dungeon and trying to escort her through it was a nightmare especially when I failed and had to go back and talk to her all over again because of my OCD.

Because of this I kept screaming at her and shouting I should feed her to the undead. The end of the quest ended up shocking me thought my choices, but I realized in the end it was for the best and would help improve the pact as whole.

Long story short: In any MMO the only time I have shouted and sweared was during PvP, but this game had me doing it through PvE and I never touched PvP in this game.... Even in the ES franchise I have never screamed at there games more then this.

So much hate in these forums isn't really helping new and curious players, it's sad actually. If you're going to complain about some one expressing there opinion on a public forums, don't read the post. It's as simple as boiling water. No one wants to see all this negativity just like you don't wanna see positivity. Respect other peoples opinion and keep yours to yourself if you don't. Not bash people on assumptions and grounds that really cannot be proven. It's all opinions at the end of the day. Play and feel how you want, not judge and bash other for feeling differently. It's very sickening and for any new players that come here will most likely second guess they're view on the game because of it.

VR2, DK Full Heavy Armor with a 2 hander (all melee spec) solo'd all the way so far with no problems.. VR XP reqs are *** and I can see the long haul to 12 getting a bit tedious, however I don't buy for a minute that you can't solo all the way there..

I agree it is most likely possible (similar build but a Templar with melee almost at VR4), just the tedious starts to overtake the fun element sooner rather than later.

Saying that, my re-rolled magicka build alt is a blast and I still enjoy the game :)

Yeah, my wife doesn't possess the "twitch" skills that I do, but she does enjoy the story and exploring. If this game alienates casual players like her, don't see it lasting much longer as a subscription-based MMO.

Subscription cancelled due to the following facts:

    - Zenimax implements more bugs from patch to patch
    - Zenimax does not care about the increasing instability of the game. People have more and more crashes Fix of memory bug decreased number of crashes considerably
    - Zenimax has still not fully fixed the fps drops they (!) implemented with patch1.2.3
    - Zenimax does nothing to fix the massive ability lags in PvP
    - Zenimax gives more attention to unnecassary 'content' like dyes for armors than fixing issues
    - In patchnotes Zenimax lies about bugs allegedly fixed
    - Zenimax has no plan as to how balance population in Cyrodiil campaigns
    - Support is ineffective and does not even speak in a way one can linguistically understand

Whats so wrong with VR content for you people ? I leveled up 2 characters to VR14 and 3rd is VR4 and I think everything is great. IF grinding is all you do then ofc its boring but since I go questing ,and quests in ESO are damn great, I reach VR14 very quickly and it doesnt get boring.

The one thing I tell all my friends who play: "do not let the actions of other influence you" There is tons of people who are rushing to hit max level so they can do what they want, that doesn't mean you should to.

My first play through I was rushing, I wanted to get to end game and be more powerful, but when I made my alt (who is now V13) I decided to play at my own pace, I didn't feel obligated to do things. I spent a few days just running around Greenshade/Auridion exploring everything, I loved it.

Now, When I go to PvP on my DK I see myself more of a hunter/survivalist. I run around aimlessly exploring Cyrodiil (sometimes I come across one player and we have amazing fights), I've seen so much that I missed or would not have seen because I usually gank and sometimes siege. Just last night I decided to go on my own quest (As someone who played ES: Oblivion) To go and try and find the valley the unicorn is in, then I decided to go visit Cloud ruler temple to see what the blades were up to (I was fairly surprised and very curious when I got there).

The next time I play through I want to do it with 3 friends, each of us be a different class and go through the game at our own pace. It seems like it would be way more fun as an adventuring group then just doing quests solo.

Right me too, i m playing since april and i have 2 alts, 1 that i grinded v14 in 2 week, the other i m doing every single quest , every quest it s a short movie, and exploring every side of the game, you can choose what to do. This is the only mmo that made me like quests, i always hated to quest, great work on this side.

Been playing since early access(yes, I pre-ordered) and my highest level character is 33. That's about...five levels a month. For three characters. Well, two. T'other one is only 27-ish.
Still having enough fun to not unsub. Amazing, innit?
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

Regretting after 300 hours of gameplay, sure.
''Regretting'' is legit if you finish the game in 3 hours and it was at 59€ on sale. Like CoD and things like that. Or if the game does not start. Playing till cap and then finding less to do...well, it's quite NORMAL imho.

I'll take it. It's a step forward from not having a girlfriend at all. ;) (but probably leading to not having one again, so...)

But seriously, track Day 1 and Day 4 and you'll see.
