Hmmm. how often would you say?
Is it only during times with a lot of action on screen?
Do you run the game in full screen or windowed mode?

I dont believe it either. I'm in a large cross-guild TS when PvP'ing, hundreds of players from my faction visits daily. Guess what, everyone is crashing. Sometimes 2-3 raids (sitting in different TS channels) crashes at the same time. Best case only half a group goes offline.
Than there's all the roll-backs. How does one who "never crash" explain that lol?
So when someone on a forum claims they aren't crashing during large scales battles, I assume they're trolling, lying or just trying to stir up drama. Because I have yet to meet an actual player that's not crashing in PvP on the EU Megaserver.
I think, but not sure, it's if you crash in a high population campaign you get stuck in some queue. I've seen this before and repeatedly trying to log back in eventually works. Never been stuck outside of game for too long.tordr86b16_ESO wrote: »and now im unable to log in with my character, just great.

And i think it wouldn't hurt to be a bit more polite with strangers no? I don't know the problem with what i said, Is it because i don't have any major problems with the game and i'm not in the forums bringing doom and gloom? Anyway, i was just trying to be helpful here awnsering the op, have a nice day

Most client problems in Cyrodiil are caused by a game design that shows every single status effect on yourself, your allies and your opponents as an fx effect. The client simply can't handle 40+ player characters on screen with each of them having 3 or more fx effects on them (+ all the fx effects from dozens of skills being used). The game needs optional buff icons as part of the standard UI as well as an option to reduce fx effects to a minimum.
Well, for the lags you wouldn't have to be close to the zergballers. They create too much traffic/too many commands/too much interaction and then the entire zone (campaign) will feel the effect when the server can't keep up with it anymore.Cherryblossom wrote: »Sadly, since the last patch this does not seem to be the case. Me and my entire guild group have had problems in areas with very few people. This is groups of people with completely different computers in different parts of the world experiencing the exact same freezes, Lags and crashes.

About client performance problems (fps drops): I believe there was another major change to how the particle systems work in Update 4. Even a single DK standard used in PvE will cause a fps drop for me now. For some reason Cyrodiil's main map always ran on lower fps for me compared to any PvE zone even when there wasn't a single other player close by.
Edit: As for client crashes, in every 3rd or so veteran dungeon run I've done recently, I've seen several people getting a critical error at the exact same moment. Those were people with different systems and different addons from various countries as well. And it wasn't always the same players, but it could happen to all. For example at the netch boss in veteran Darkshade Caverns, Grobull the Transmuted (here, for some people, one crash was almost guaranteed), or at the giant bone colossus boss in veteran Crypt of Hearts.

At it's best, you'll "only" have to deal with 3 second lag.
I've got a decent rig. OC'd i5 3570k, Nvidia GTX 780 ,24gb 1600Mhz CL11 memory, 3x SSD's in raid 0 and an mobo with x77 intel chipset.
What rig do you guys have and how do you fare in large scale PvP ?

Alright. This doesn't seem like a common problem, based on my own experience as well as others, and the fact that there aren't a huge number of people complaining about it. Leads me to believe the problem is local to your computer.
A couple things I'd suggest for troubleshooting...
Disable any and all addons you're using in ESO, and see if the problem continues
Completely uninstall your sound/video drivers and reinstall the latest versions.

It's actually very common. Happens to multiple people in the group I run with several times a session, and always seems to happen in large scale battles.
