TL;DR: Game is terribly optimized leading to the same crappy frames, no matter what you turn your settings on.. When you change settings or enter the game.. I am greeted with a 10 minute long load screen.
Hey guys, fluffbuff here and I just bought this game today. I am not happy with this game as I have had so many issues with it. Now I'm not a person who hates the Elder Scrolls games, I adore them. What I have seen of this game is terrible and I am not happy. So I started off, created my character and thought "Oh man, this is gonna be awesome. I might actually replace World of Warcraft with this." Then I started to play the game and experience some of the game breaking issues.
First let me tell you this.. Sitting at a loading screen for 10+ minutes is not fun. I'll get back to this later. So I tried to adjust my settings cause the game is running poorly on my PC, which can easily run Skyrim on Max settings. Every time I would change the settings, I would have to wait through the 10 minutes of load screen.. Man let me tell you.. Best moment of my life.
When the game does load, I noticed something strange.. I mean.. Odd.. No matter what settings I seem to play on.. I get the same exact frame rates.. I'm talking about 27FPS-40-FPS and I asked if other people were having the same problems. They only responded with "FPS varies by how many people are on" and don't get me wrong, I could see that but I have a graphics card with 2gb GDDR5 video memory and should not be seeing that.
I love MMORPG's and I love the elder scrolls series, but this game is something else. I love the idea of it, hate the execution of it. Thanks for your time guys,
Fluffbuff
Could I do that since I purchased the game elsewhere?fluff buff these are problems that are on ZOS's side. the very things you have described have been going on since the game launched and seem to have only gotten worse. at first only some people were affected now it has multiplied. I would contact customer support for a refund asap before you log in to much play time and they deny you.
Like I said, I really wanted to like this game. The idea was great, the thought of the idea was great but it had terrible execution. I think my first day was my last day. I can't play at 27 FPS.. Also, my card is a Nvidia Gefore 750m 2gb GDDR5. The card runs skyrim on max and that game has better graphics..

I'm just saying that it shouldn't take 10 minutes on the loading screen.

I am running a Pocket loss test right now. Seeing if anything comes up, will update with info.

Nor does it for 99% of players, otherwise you'd see the forums dominated by such complaints. There's clearly a problem at your end. I know from other games' forums over many years how difficult it is to get past the "everything else works ok so it can't be my setup" reaction, but the fact is that different games have different requirements, and they produce different compatibility issues.
Are you using a wired or wireless internet connection? If it isn't a problem with your internet connection (and you should check your ISP's forums to see if anyone else is having similar problems), then the chances are that your laptop simply isn't up to the task of running this particular game, although you may be able to tweak the settings enough to get it running.
I don't think you've told us what the processor is, but I have serious doubts as to whether your laptop meets the recommended specifications for this game, which are much higher than WoW, and as has been said already Skyrim's requirements are very different as it isn't an online game.

Nvidia Gefore 750m GT 2gb DDR5
8gb DDR3 ram
Intel i5 4200 2.5Ghz (3ghz when in game)
750gb Hard drive
Wireless
I think I have more than enough to run this game, what do you think? Also what you say is false. I've watched reviews before I purchased this game sir and they had they same issues except the game actually crashed on the loading screen. There is nothing wrong with my laptop.

Just bragging that I have a video card with DDR5 memory doesn't mean you have a screaming machine.
Now that may NOT be your problem ... or maybe it is.

I'm not saying I have a screaming machine friend.. I'm saying that I have more than enough. I'm rocking a Intel i5 4200 2.5ghz processor, which oc's to 3.0ghz.
My card is Nvidia Geforce 750m 2gb GDDR5 and to top it off. I have 8gb DDR3 ram. So I think I'm okay for what I have. I'm not expecting it to run on ultra, I'm expecting it to run on at least high with no FPS drops.. I expect loading screens to be done in 30 seconds to a minute.. Not 10..
