Thats the second sentence in my original post. I promise you this, this guy aint showing up to a tournament with an anti-stam build and he is going to get wrecked for it.
My standard dueling set up that I run is anti-everything, I can use it against every class or build. It's all about adjusting my play style during the fight and playing to my strengths.
I run a dueling guild with hundreds of players in it. There is only one person who goes 50/50 with me right now, and he's running a NB glass cannon build with 2.1k health. I'm still trying to figure out a counter play style for him. But I do appreciate the fact that he thought outside the box and created a beast NB build. (The build is a secret, so please don't ask.)
Thats because i left Legend last week.

well thats the "problem" Dk´s are too well rounded - every other class has at least an entire class as its predator. the only predator to DK´s is making failures on your own...
Call me hater call me jelous I dont care but should not be possible sorry...
Tankers should tank not tank and dps like that. Proof that pvp is unballanced.
ya you can get some crazy hits with 2 handers if you gear just for it. i liked that sorc vid someone posted a while ago getting 2.5k hits on unsuspecting people aha.lol, hi Braidas
I have been having some success with my crits recently Braidas, that on top of execute which deals more damage the lower your health goes seems to confuse a lot of people as to what is actually happening.
I have high hopes for playing a Golem in CU.Insurrektion wrote: »Call me hater call me jelous I dont care but should not be possible sorry...

Good thing ESO lets any class perform any role and since his DK is in cloth armor he definitely isn't a tank. In other news, pure tanks don't work in pvp. The closest I\ve ever seen it to working is the marauder class in FF14, where they could pop a bunch of cds and front-load a ton of damage, enough to potentially kill clothies.

Also, do you have a maxed out character of another class? I would like to see you pull of the same stuff with a non-DK. I suspect you can do it, and it would shut up a lot of the DK haters.
I don't play DK, and I hate facing them... but I don't expect to kill everyone I face all the time. That's what BE is for.

Light armor, 1h/s resto off, invasion impale hidden strike, soul tether.
Am I close?
Whats funny is this glass canon NB build can 50/50 you, but would get rocked 1v2 while you with the same duel build can ulti 10 pugs to death. ESO balance.

i never played daoc but the praise from the players and the fact that eso pvp is predicated on it tells me if they can at least match it CU will be great. i'm sure there're many older guys on here that are more informed and have played daoc, but from what i've checked out i'm pretty excited. you can watch design docs of a lot of the core concepts on their website to get an idea of the game.
going to be just PvP btw, so all dev attention on it

Many of us are waiting for further news on CU. The lack of attention to PvP is really apparent here.
The video was nicely done as usual! I have a Sorc and a NB that are very fun to use in PvP and each fit their own play style. Im currently leveling a DK so im looking forward to seeing how that varies 1vX wise from my Sorc which does very well.
Well saying that only DK has a allround build for duels doesn't fit my experiences at all.
Every good dueler I know (playing on EU server) has a build that he uses against pretty much everyone and just makes some slight adjustments if needed (what DKs do too).
Sorcerer build: Stack Hardened Ward, Healing Ward and Harness Magicka. Streak around, use Curse, Crystal Fragments and Mages Wrath. Maybe Entropy aswell.
Nb build: Summon shadows to drain stamina, go ranged with Swallow Soul and Cripple. If enemy comes too close use fear and/or port back to the shadow.
Templar build: Keep up Blazing Shield and exploit permastun with biting jabs until enemy dies

That's good to know. PvP development is usually a lot cheaper because it's the players who create the enjoyable experience for themselves.
Devs can work for months on a quest that PVE players will finish in 1 day and be done. But if they add something as simple as dueling a friend or a new pvp objective, we can have fun for months before getting bored.

right, but it might not be the shangri-la for everyone. since i know they're very against having any arena type system in the game (a setup instanced grp v grp or 1v1 area)
but i still think it'll be great
