how the hell will making it harder for "lowbies" to get camps, cut down on camp trolling?

Lol why would anyone go back to WoW? The majority of us are just holding on with this as something to do until Camelot Unchained comes out

i would like to agree with the person you quoted. and poor excuse of a daoc clone? you obviously have no idea what they've even said about their game.
at this point, even if it is a "poor excuse of a daoc clone" it'll still be better than where this game is headed
actually, if you read what i wrote, i said "where this game is headed"
so it's really promises v promises. i just like CU's promises better
100% focus on PvP (RvR) (especially with computer performance) no aoe caps, more than 6 abilities usable at a time (weapon swap still doesn't make it 12 cause the other 6 become unusable when you swap)
and i think i'll enjoy a game that doesn't keep adding ridiculous bugs to the game everytime they patch something completely unrelated to what got bugged
can someone tell me what Brian said?

can someone tell me what Brian said?
He said they are nerfing oil pots because they are anti-zerg
He said postern doors should be fixed.
He said he is not in charge of pvp combat. The lead PVP guy is not in charge of what happens in cyrodiil apparently.
Spoke about forward camps for about 10 seconds and said that there is no fix at this time.
That was about it.
To just sit there and pretend the sad state of cyrodiil is "just peachy" while there are game breaking issues going on and not even MENTION them blows me away. He didnt even answer any questions...just ran off after 5 minutes.

how can the lead PvP designer NOT be in charge of PvP combat??? that is one fo the most ridiculous things I have ever heard in my life!!!
well Brian, could you at least tell us who IS, so we know who to talk to about the PvP?
The problem with FWC's is not troll camps.
The PVP team is outsourced to a t shirt company in Mumbai...all the pvp work is being outsourced there so they are asleep at the moment and it takes 48 hrs to get feedback.
Then it is reviewed by an intern who is the son of the consultant from Brazil that sells the coffee machines to ZOS. Poor kid has been working there for 3 months only but he still does not have an email.
After he reviews the changes and translates them to portuguese they are put in google translation and forwarded for approval to the Xbox team who still is waiting on a game in the first place.
Then a new bug is reported and Mumbai gets a call
/endsarcasm

OMFG seriously? How the H E double hockey sticks do you have a PvP DEV that has nothing to do with how the player to player combat works? This answers a huge amount of questions right there. That should be his TOP FREAKIN PRIORITY!! /laughing in disbelief, it's called PLAYER VS PLAYER. Not Siege and Governing playfield mechanics! What is wrong with you people?
My Gawd you guys really have no clue. Just none. The player combat comes first. Then the field and mechanics in which it's done. Not the other way around. I think just about anyone in this forum would agree. Sometimes the amount of incompetence this company shows is astounding.
I was going to make another sarcastic comment about PVP but at this point I am just not even motivated to write something funny to express my frustration with ZOS. It makes me feel like booking a vacation with Club Med only to be obliged to travel on an airline where people have to stand during the whole trip, with no bathrooms, no air conditioning and cattle mix with people in the cabin. The plane also is run by pilot students and the food gives you diarrhea. The vacation spot itself is awesome...the trip a total joke.
That is how I feel about PVP in ESO. A beautiful and rewarding PVE experiences that was sold as a fantastic PVP game which in fact is like the pile of dino dung that Goldblum looks at in Jurassic Park.
You buy the game looking at the trailer expecting great battles. You level to 10 to get in PVP and then everything collapses into the sewers and the game becomes worst that a high school student project.
Of course you could just dump PVP and only do PVE but when you bought the game for the PVP you feel like you have been lied to. Then you realize you pay $15 a month for the privilege of flying ZOS Airlines...where you stand during the whole trip and the food gives you the runs

Exactly. Yes, troll FCs are annoying. But the REAL PROBLEM (@zos_BRIANWHEELER) with Forward Camps are that they ENCOURAGE ZERGING/BLOBBING and make transit routes means NOTHING!!!! Why on Earth ZoS cant aknowledge this is beyond me..
ZOS, thanks very much for the ESO Live updates. I really appreciate hearing from the devs and community managers.Exactly. Yes, troll FCs are annoying. Actually, he didn't talk about troll FCs at all. @ZOS_BrianWheeler specifically talked about how using FCs as fast transport was not what they envisaged and they are looking at changing it. You can see the full interview at http://www.twitch.tv/zenimaxonlinestudios/b/572353063
