DKs have been owning since BETA I don't know what you are talking about? Standard is such an amazing Ultimate I WISH my Templar had it. I have some good ones but nothing like that.

Talons/Spell Reflect/LavaWhip/Standard/Green Dragon Blood

Easily counterable. All classes have a form of their own cheese. But don't act like DKs don't have it easy. Your only lying to yourself.

DK Standard Cost 200 Ult, Debuffs, Buffs and does a TON of damage for 15 seconds.

I play a DK and a Sorc equally, they're the same alliance rank (capt) and there's no bigger myth than the "DKs have it easy". The only thing they have easy is finding the build that works (you posted it), but there's nothing easy about doing what Sypher does.

If you think they have it easy, roll one and let me know if you can own like Sypher. A lot of the players he wipes the floor with on his vids are DKs. There's a reason you don't see many other players posting videos like that.

So you're telling me. The only way you will be impressed is if I single handily manage to take down full organized guilds that takes full advantage of blobing up on the crown and spams Impulse/Batswarm (nothing against that play style, it's your choice) all by myself? LOL.

Just the mere fact that you so easily discredited my video and claim it's "basic requirements" to join your guild pretty much shows that your ego is threatened and you have to quickly discredit it in hopes that it doesn't take away from your god like powers.

I specialize in wiping zergs and organized guilds in Cyrodiil. And I'm not discrediting you, just letting you know I'm not the least bit impressed with the fact that you can pour oil on unsuspecting pugs that don't purge and drop banners that they don't negate or walk out of.

You're a player who's had some success in the little leagues, had a few dudes suck you off, and now you think you're Derek Jeter.

News flash, you're not the next best thing since sliced bread. There are lots of players just as good or better than you in Cyrodiil. They just don't ego trip through the forums in hopes of impressing 18 year old Aussie girls since they can't get none in real life.

I sadly, have not dueled in a long time, and I know there's a lot of shifting metas in any aspect of the game.

But I'll fight you on your terms. I'll duel you. 1v1. You can stream it and frap it and make a video of how you beat the noob impulse batswarmer, or, split the matches or lose to me, and be "put in your place".

We can even make it an event

and have hundreds of people watching! Are you willing to risk losing to an impulse spammer though who never duels? That would be pretty embarrassing in front of all your fans.

This is why block needs to be changed to 180* instead of 360*, so that player movement is more important than gear/build/rotation.

All I see here is Lash Lash Lash, scales gdb, invasion, standard, lash lash lash.

Its just ability spam while holding block. He doesn't avoid damage with movement or facing or dodge rolling because he doesn't have to. Holding block, spamming pots, and dropping scales/gdb is all he has to do to stay alive.

If block only worked 180* one good stamina build would destroy this playstyle because really, its a pretty basic playstyle, its easy to read.

I'm not saying Sypher is a bad player, but I can't really tell how good he is twitch reflex wise because this entire video is him holding block slowly walking around winning fights with his gear and class, not with his reflex or movement. I'm not saying he doesn't have reflex or movement, I just don't see it here in this playstyle because its not required for success.

This video really speaks volumes about the mechanical imbalances in ESO. Coming from Age of Conan, an amazing melee combat system, to this, this "one of the best pvpers" videos, its depressing.

Maybe I should just reroll Templar, gear out in light armor with magicka cost reduction enchants, and walk around holding block and spamming shields. Right now banging my head against the wall with a 2hand NB, and losing fights to players I know are terrible but are using cheese builds, its just not good pvp.

Exactly. Which is why this video is unimpressive.

There's actually a lot of hidden mechanics in the game, but I'm not really the kind of guy to share all of them as it gives me an edge over my enemies.

It seems the reigning best dueling dk has accepted all challenges. I'll see you sometime Saturday after some of my prior engagements. (You'll have to hop on an AD/EP dk though cause I only have DC characters)

I have 1vX videos without using any shields. But I won't ignore the fact that harness is an OP skill.

Doesn't really matter though because I killed shield stackers in the video.

The EU nb video is pretty good, inferior competition vs. an odd build but still pretty impressive.

No you are just delusional. Sypher is a bad moficka but he isn't beating down a group like he does at the beginning of that video with an NB.

DK is the strongest pvp class and has been since day 1 of the pts.

I am most definitely always running around geared and set up for group fights and fighting 1vX.

I've never run around with anything close to a 1v1 build.

But we shall see Saturday

As someone who has fought you both and somehow gotten kills on you both (not solo though of course) my personal belief is you would mop the floor with Lfehova. Nothing against hov, but he seems more suited to group fights and you seem more geared to fight solo.

You were hit for 111

When you can have almost 4k hp even before Emperor, this is why I think shielding and blocking are broken. The number of hits it would take to kill you is insane. Most I saw you get hit for is 255, none of them crits (assuming you have a lot of impen). That amount of DR + the sustain on DK is just...nuts.

When you have a max of 12 abilities total that you have to choose from in combat there is really little skill in ability selection. If you know anything about PvP you are using the majority of the good abilities.

I miss the days of having 20-30 abilities on my bar. No macros just hot keys of different situational rotations and epic fights.

As a Templar.. Sun Shield, Harness Magicka, barrier, Nova, Breathe of Life, Shards

I can do the same thing for every other class and put it with an armor set that works.

Nothing in this game is complicated and while 1v1 requires skill to be highly successful, even 1vx against PUGS, group play will always trump it.

It is much harder to coordinate people of varying skill levels to work as a team.

Fighting against No Mercy is infinitely more fun and rewarding then fighting against EG. Nothing against EG but when you are up against a team who you know is on top of their game and is actively coordinating against you then ANYTHING can happen.

Oh an DKs are still cheese. Stop pretending. (wink AoE Barbeque)

It has everything to do with the circle jerk that goes on, making people believe that what happened in the video is some immense display of pvp talent and mechanics.

Maybe I should just reroll Templar, gear out in light armor with magicka cost reduction enchants, and walk around holding block and spamming shields. Right now banging my head against the wall with a 2hand NB, and losing fights to players I know are terrible but are using cheese builds, its just not good pvp.

If Block was 180 degree's you'd pretty much kill every Melee User in the game and it would become nothing more then a range fest unless you were zerg balling it up.

Also as an NB, you complaining about Block is rather hilarious......since your class is the absolute best class in the game for dealing with block users.

I know for a fact that NM is an elite and skillful guild. I don't try to discredit their achievements and feats.

I'm just not a group oriented guy. Dueling and 1vX is all I do. That's my play style and I've become decent it at.

There's just no reason (besides a threatened ego / jealousy for hova to try to belittle me)

The reason is simple has nothing to do with ego/jealousy or whatever else you personally may be concerned about.

It has everything to do with the circle jerk that goes on, making people believe that what happened in the video is some immense display of pvp talent and mechanics.

Reread my first post, there was no attempt to belittle you, I was merely putting the video's merits in place with it's worth.

Facts are facts. And as I stated, and my point that I will stand by.
