Ninja Patch? Getting Error 210 - Patch Manifest Error

Yesterday evening I opened the game client and logged into the game no problem. Today, just now, I am getting this error when I open the launcher:
"Error 210 - PatchManifestError_DownloadFail
Unable to download manifest, please try again later."

What gives? Was there some ninja patch?

I tried hitting repair and immediately get the same error again. Can't repair client, can't launch game. Sad.

    If you have steam....
    1. close the client
    2. exit steam
    3. check task manager doesn't show eso.exe process running..if so kill it with fire.
    4. if you have an eso shortcut on the desktop....fire it up without steam.

    This has worked for me sometimes as it appears steam code is conflicting with client code for some reason. Not sure if its a cache issue or something.

    Thanks for the solution, but I am not using Steam.

    I am on a Mac though, if that makes any difference

    Hey there @curlyqloub14_ESO,

    If repairing doesn't work, there's another fix you can try that will help out with the 210 error. Give these steps a try and let us know if it helps!

    •Double-click the Macintosh HD icon on the desktop
    •If the Macintosh HD is not visible, do the following;
    ◦Click on Finder on the toolbar along the top of the screen
    ◦Select Preference from the dropdown menu
    ◦Place a check in the Hardrive box under Show These Items on Desktop
    •Double-click on the Applications folder
    •Double-click on the Zenimax Online folder
    •Right-click on the Launcher (it will have the ESO ouroboros icon) and select "Show package contents..."
    •Open the Content folder
    •Open the MacOS folder
    •Find and delete the ProgramData folder

    If this doesn't work, please let us know and we'll be happy to continue working with you.

    @ZOS_GaryA

    I am also having this issue and the solution described did not fix it. I'm on a windows 7 64 bit machine. Repaired does nothing but give me the error again. I also have the PTS downloaded and it launches fine and is up to date but I can't launch the live game.
