So obviously from an official and lore based stand point it is possible for them to add an NPC in the game who can take a larger amount of gold so you can re edit you character.0 -

Necronomicon✭✭✭We need it!I've been asking for this forever, I've even made a poll or two a few months ago, read everything I could about it. Posted on other polls of others asking and what I can make out what is happening, Is they said they'll do barber shop, nothing about appearance they've been beating around the bush on this. For a few reasons maybe, the hairstyles would be more simple to code in at first, then doing the whole appearance. But we need a face sculptor or something not just a barbershop, just might take time.... also the question of what it will cost, will it be bought with ingame gold or money.Edited by Necronomicon on September 18, 2014 11:57PM0 -

MissKiwiana✭✭✭We need it!I would love to change some of my chars - not just the appearance but the voice of some of my chars riles me - my main when she is being attacked by mobs sounds like someone is choking her... seriously sounds like she is gagging for air. The voice overs of some of the sounds in game are bloody awful.PC Platform all the way! Windows 10.

I'd even like resizing/adjusting available for some of the characters where I realized way too long after the fact certain things I wished I could change, or voices I wished I could change because I didn't hear all the sounds that they made. LadyShauna✭✭✭We need it!Barbershop is a start, but I seriously hope that the rest will come as well. @MissKiwiana has a good point that it's more than just appearance, the voice should be re-assignable. When I did my own character creation, testing out the voices I could barely hear the voice previews it was sooo quiet even at my max volume. Fortunately I'm happy with the voice I picked. Yeah its coming, they said so... see the "Year Ahead", DLC and Update Plan paragraph that reads:
And sadly, this "longer term" they speak of likely refers to things After the dark brotherhood DLC in Q2...Longer term, expect to see information about systems like a character customization shop so you can change your character's gender, appearance, name, etc., player housing, and other systems that we'll announce in the future. We'll have much more information about all of these as the year progresses.
