The PVP in Cyrodiil is largely group PVP whereas those advocating for PVP in other zones do so because they want 1v1 or 1v2 PVP or gankfest opportunities which are fairly infrequent in Cyrodiil, all things considered.
Plenty of other places for PVP, completely unneeded.

What's the point in going to another faction if you don't meet the players from that faction? Splitting up the player base seems very unnecessary.
Look at just some of the potential areas they may add on the map below (looks like some old alpha map I found here on Reddit)..
Do we really want these future 50+ areas to be faction-specific with no interaction with other alliances??

^this... bring us together.. its an MMO.. even if we can't have PvP, I would prefer that to having every zone be this faction-only farce!!!
Well I hoped they would be open to all, but this was already after I knew Craglorn and Coldharbour were 3 separate ones, so I just expected them to be the same. And did u imagine these zones as open to all, or with 3-faction specific versions??
Some of the people here on forum seems to have a limited capacity of understanding the fact that an MMO is played by a large number of players who have different play styles and preferences. This is why there are designated areas for PvP and for PvE.
Just because someone likes to play PvP doesn't mean that the entire game need to be transformed in PvP.
There wouldn't be any more players in each server-shard instance of a zone, they'd just be made up of members of all factions rather than just the one.moxiesauce wrote: »I feel the zone would have to be larger.. 3 alliances in that small corner of Tamriel seems a bit overwelming. Maybe when they release skyrim they could make it for all factions.
Sure, but there's no reason you can't include Coldharbour in that list as well, as it's also a neutral zone.Just to be clear.... this suggestion is only for zones that are 50+... Craglorn, Wrothgar, Murkmire & whatever future zones they add....

you do realise you are at war with them right? in world war 2 american soldiers didnt take a sunday off and go hang with there German buddys and have a few bears, this is war, get used to it .Dont mind the lack of PvP, not including justice system stuff.
However the seperate instances/areas for each faction is a complete joke. Yet again they are segregating the community in this game.
Whoever decided this was a good idea needs a kick in the ass! Whats the point of making an MMO when we dont get to see masses of other people?

It is hard to have guild events when some of your guild members are always excluded unless they roll alts. The only way to all go on a fishing trip together is to do it in Cyrodiil and agree not to kill each other (and hope no one else does either).
One neutral island - mayeb something about the size of Stros M'Kai - somewhere with shops and fishing spots and maybe some frog races and stuff like that. A few taverns etc. Just a nice place for guilds of all alliances and players of all factions to meet up. Maybe even a little arena where we can all go watch a few fights.
Good shout on Eyevea and the Earth Forge. I hadn't even thought about them, but they absolutely should be on the list.phreatophile wrote: »+1 for Cross-faction PVE areas.
Coldharbor, Eyevea, The Earthforge, and to a lesser degree, Craglorn are places with very good story reasons to be cross faction.
For the players that want the endless PVP Hamster Wheel, there is a place for that, it's really large and in the center of the map.
If they keep on hemmoraging subscriptions, they'll have to have cross-faction play just to give us someone to play with.
