I am trying to complete the quest in Malabal Tor, called 'Arithiel' and the final boss is immune to my ultimate.
The boss is also immune to every interrupt on my Sorc-Vamp.
I get that tougher mobs and bosses would be trivialized by some CC - to make the healing from Midnight drain not work along with the stun doesnt seem right and to allow anything to be able to ignore ultimate powers doesnt seem to go with the feel of this game world. This is my highest level character. Do other ultimates by other bosses also get ignored?
I literally spent 30 minutes burning down down the boss, with the fire atronoch supplied by Boethia and my unstable clannfear also beating on the boss.
I take it in game mobs dont have to worry about magika running out either.

✭Many boss attacks/self heals can't be negated (pun intended).
Standard bash works very well. What you'll find is skills with interrupt or stun takes a bit longer to get to the boss (animation etc.) but standard bash works a lot faster especially in healers.

The boss you're referring to is immune to most forms of crowd control and staggering effects, save for the standard bash. When she begins to heal, hold the right mouse button to block, then press the left mouse button to bash. This will interrupt the heal and give you a chance to do some damage.0 -

I think it's a good idea. That's literally the only boss that frustrated / troubled me through the 1 - 50 experience. Keep it that way, I say. Something has to be a challenge after all.
