Can't send more than a few mails? Mail blocked or broken?

I've been using the in-game mail interface without any problems since Beta, but now i'm not sure if it's having problems or if it's kind of blocked?

Since yesterday i tried to send an in-game mail to some of my guildmates, but after i sent about 5 mails, the "Send" button was not responding (not greyed out). I've tried /reloadui, turning off my add-ons, logging in and out, closing the game, restarting the PC, etc... without any success.
I dont know if i'm the only one having this problem and what could i do to fix this, or i dont know if the game system is now blocking the send function after a few mails are sent.

I think keeping a guild active by organizing events is hard enough already, specially if we don't have any built-in feature that allows us to communicate with our guildmates (both offline and online, since we all don't log in at the same time), and now it seems i just can't send any mails at all...
I would really appreciate any official information regarding this matter, since we are trying hard to make an active, nice guild and community.
Thanks in advance for your concern: Hector.

i asked to my guildmates and it seems i got "muted" or blocked by "spamming"...
they said that mailr is now considered as a spam add-on and that is prohibited.... well how in Vivec's name could i know that ._.!
    >>To whoever read this DON'T use MailR!<<
i've already deleted that add-on but i need a CS staff unblock my account please.
I really insist there is a need for a better means of communications within a guild, since handling over 300 people and keeping them all informed with 2 lines of text in the message of the day is definetly not enough, specially if this is a mmo.
Now i wonder how difficult or easy is it going to be to contact ESO custommer service.

You just discovered one of the many ridiculous features (or in this case a lack thereof), no mass-mailings to your guild members.

Welcome to ZOS' take on how to build dysfunctional communities.

First of all, thanks for the fast answer, but well... i dont think i'm banned since i can log into the game and play.
once in-game, what i don't have are the following:
    • can't whisper
    • can't talk in group chat
    • can't acces guild banks
    • can't acces guild stores
    • can't send any kind of mail
    • can't trade with players
    amongst other stuff.

If you read carefully my posts i never said i was "banned", since i never got any kind of warning or notification, and i can log into the game.

I would appreciate more information about what is going on. What is the source of this problem? Why are those features unavailable to me? What can i do to fix that?
And in case having those features unavailable is actually considered a ban, then Why i didn't got any warnings? How can i know if this is actually considered a ban or not since i can still log into the game and play? How can i fix this issue?

My apologies for asking this, but i want to know this before i make an appeal for a ban removal if i'm not even sure i've been banned.

They most likely are not going to reply to you on here again if they do I would be you will get the canned answer - submit a ticket and start there. it is total BS that you can't mass email your guild...... Along with 100's of other items of similar sort...

    Hey there @tcherkrick,

The linked process is to appeal any Terms of Service action on your account, including muting. Our apologies that this wasn't clear!

No, he's saying use CS/Support outside the forums to get your account fully functional again. It's apparently on lockdown and you need to have CS restore it to full functionality. Send /help ingame and respond to their email or call up Z.

The same thing just happened to me. I have used MailR to send out guild mail on many occasions but it now appears that its use is not authorized?

I have submitted my appeal but the larger issue of whether we can use this add-on to send out bulk mail to guild members is still open.

Thanks again Gary for your really fast response, i'm impressed by the good service and speed of official responses in the forums and custommer support!

Thanks also for clarifying my doubt, i now understand that there is a log-in ban and there's also a mute automated system for avoiding spam, and that both kind of problems are considered to be solved by the account/billing staff.
I hope this information can be useful to people reading this post and having the same problem.

I've already submitted a ticket the correct way, and i even got an answer to it impressively fast, so my problem is already being solved. I apologize for not reading the Community Rules before posting here in the forums, and you can consider this thread as closed.

I still suggest people not to use the MailR, and i've also submitted a feedback form, suggesting that a built-in guild mail feature would solve several problems and also save time both for players and ZOS staff.

Thanks again for your time and concern.
