I appreciate the offer, but having to install addons to fix something they broke just lets them off the hook. They broke it, they need to fix it. Third party software is NOT a professional response.

I play without a single add-on and amazingly my game is standing up perfectly well.I appreciate the offer, but having to install addons to fix something they broke just lets them off the hook. They broke it, they need to fix it. Third party software is NOT a professional response.
If I didn't use addons to fix all the broken software in ESO my whole game would collapse.

You must have low standards then.
Don't understand why people brag about sticking with the UI out of stubborness or some misguided belief it's all part of a grand minimalist UI scheme. It's not. It's just bad interface.
AdvancedFilters, AwesomeGuildStore, plus addons that provide some method of putting what I loot "somewhere" and info on combat should be in the interface already. We're not talking skyshards here, or shortcuts, or cheaty, spoilery ones--just the ones that remove frustrations caused by limited, bad UI that don't add anything at all to the game.
And now we need one to deal with this new confirmation dialog that can affect people to the tune of hundreds of unnecessary clicks a day. But you're just okay with that? Because ZOS put the confirmation there, so it must be good? That's just silly.

I just released my addon (BT9) ByTheNine Notify. It's gives you extended notification settings. It currently supports options to disable Delete Mail Confirmations, Trial Notifications, PvP Scroll Announcements, and Friend Logon/Logoff Status Messages. On esoui.com and Minion.
MailR doesn't give you any options to disable it's additional features. Wykkyd's Mailbox conflicts with MailR currently. The toggle doesn't work properly and Sent/Forwarded mails cannot be deleted. He's working on a fix.
BT9 Notify does not conflict with MailR or Wykkyd's Mailbox and all settings are optional on the settings menu. If you don't want to use their addons, my addon is always another option.
They didn't break it, it was intended to be there from the start.I appreciate the offer, but having to install addons to fix something they broke just lets them off the hook. They broke it, they need to fix it. Third party software is NOT a professional response.

OMG, lets complain about something that takes 2 fingers. One on X the other on E. How hard is that?
So addons are the only way to play this game without it ruining your day? That's sad. I always thought any game should be able to stand on its own, without assistance.
Functionality is something that should be basic to any game, but sadly I suppose that is something Z has no clue about. The economy is missing options, the in-game mail is now pissing people off, traits and skills are borken. They could at least admit they can't code it in at all, then we'd KNOW this is as good as it's going to get and then make an informed decision about whether to continue to throw money into their gaping maw. But no, they stay silent and hope it goes away. That's one way to deal with problems I guess.
Yet another so-called Live release that is really Beta, and we are paying to test.

Mainly because you can now delete the contents from a hireling, if you have to clear your inbox it's painful. The mail system is not good and they've made it worse.
