As the post title states, since the current patch I have been having random points at which my summoned Daedric pet will just decide on it's own to vanish - noticed it first in Alcaire castle specifically, but realized that it has happened prior to this in the village areas surrounding as well. So far has happened 5times - each dissapearance happens at random times, sometimes as quick as 30 seconds, others up to 2 minutes. In addition since the last patch I have had to constantly resummon the pet in the field to get him to respond to enemies attacking me/ I attack.
