Can't install (re-install) game !

Been playing since early access and had no problems up till now. Update 4 for was due for EU server and as normal I started it off downloading and went to work.
Got back from work and install had completed and now the problems start.
Each time I tried to start the game it would crash giving me a 'fatal error' message. Came out of the launcher, re-launched and tried again... same thing.
Tried a repair, and it decided to do a re-install (if I remember it was something like 24Gb).
Screw downloading that. Anyway I un-installed the game and removed all files I could find connected to ESO. I have the Imp edition so I re-installed using the disks to save some time.
All went well until I get to where the launcher is downloading the various patches and now the launcher keeps crashing. (last 2 times were at 11% and 18%)
Its not at the same point and all I get is a message saying the launcher has stopped working.

Anybody got any ideas cause this is getting past funny now? !

    Hey there @Phantax,

A large majority of the time, this issue can be resolved by running the launcher as an administrator. To do this, head to the launcher folder, which is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Zenimax Online\Launcher. Right click on the Bethesda.net Launcher application file and choose "Run as Administrator" and let us know if that helps.

Yes, that appeared to do it. Game has installed, updated and launched all correctly !
    Thanks Gary
