Hard to tell without more info. Does the game crash? With or without error message? Or does it just load endlessly?
I used to have the latter, especially on first login of the day. I hit alt+F4 and launch again, that usually cleared it.
You mentioned earlier you have a relatively slow connection. That may cause some stuff to load slowly as well (E.g. char details that are stored on the server rather than locally).

Linkanton✭✭✭it just loads endlessly. I do the same, alt+f4 and relaunch, sometimes it loads instantly but most of the time it just loads endlessly. I'll tinker with my internet set up for now and see what works. thanks.0 -

✭The first time it takes anything between 5-10 minutes. If you took longer than that and your PC meet the minimun specs then there was definately a problem with the download.
Also to deleted your elder scrolls online folder in MY DOCUMENTS should allow you to start fresh, still wait 10 minutes. Then after that first launch I usually get in the game within 1 minute.
To decrease load times go to Video and View Distance, slide it all to 0, see if improves. Once you game stable you can play with that setting to see how much your PC can take.0
