I just tried to play the quest the Parley, emphasis on tried. I can see why it's a good idea, it just didn't work for me. For those who haven't done it, you listen to a long intro then direct spells at the enemy while the queen fights for her life.
The problems for me.
Firstly Lag. In a quest where you are directing others, any lag is bad, in this case it added to the termination of the quest.
Secondly the Strategic position. It hinders the mission far too much, you have to run about directing three mages, the bloody structure obscures the targets, and if you rush too much you fall off the edge.
Thirdly the Intro bit. Where you listen to the queen talk to the Imperial leader, it's long enough first time, third time I was hating it beyond belief.
Fourthly the fact we have nothing like prior to this, and it's obligatory. It's not a learn to play aspect, because it's completely different to the rest of the game (I've done the other two factions and beaten Molag bal, so don't try to claim otherwise). If t was optional (you could complete the faction line) then I would be ok with it, but to complete the story you have to do it, and it's annoying.
