quest "the thin ones" beeing abused

indorilwitch
so today with my lvl27 character in shadowfen i wanted to do "the thin ones" quest.
at the village i was surprised to see 2 lvl 3 characters waiting. as soon as i entered one of the caves to kill the npc, they followed,
this quest is beeing abused. a lvl 3 character just needs to pick up the quest , wait for a higher level character to actually kill the npc , they only need to do a single hit to the npc to get the quest stage. then they sell the "skeleton disguise" on guild stores for up to 40k gold.
this is wrong. please add a check to the quest giver for minimum lvl of the character.

abusers will, once they get the quest item delete the lvl3 character and rinse repeat.
gold farming is wrong.

The problem is with the idiots who pay for such a stupid disguise, even more so if is so easily obtainable.

Agreed. If something can be obtained in seconds by a new character, how in the heck are people willing to pay 40k for it?

    Because ppl are that lazy.

Is this the shadow fen disguise/quest? Just make the item BOA.

    --edit--

Yes it is that one. It doesnt surprise me people are that, er... greedy and conniving.

The item defiantly needs to be BOA.

Then again, I think all of the 'special' quest reward items need their own inventory tab and need to not count against our bag space.

It is sad ppl have to delete them after running the quest on more then one character.

I did not realise they were not BoP. Does that mean I can sell the one I picked up on my alt that I never used because I hate the sloshing sound it makes when you run?

Since the last update, all disguises are bound to account (which is a real shame for RPers actually, it was nice to give away disguises to friends for RP purposes) - so anyone doing this just to sell the disguise is going to have a bit of a surprise when they try to sell it.

With no possibility of making money from the disguise, anyone doing this at level 3 is not abusing anything, they are just wanting the disguise for themselves. That is NOT abuse or exploit.

EDIT: Actually just checked, all disguises APART FROM THAT ONE are bind on pickup, that one is bind on equip - seems as though it got missed out of the change to disguises so yes it's no wonder people are farming it. Mind you, everyone can obtain it anyway eventually, anyone paying tons of cash for it is not being very sensible. If I get spares of it, I will give them away to friends.
