And your gear will everything from v1-14 be 50? I dont think so

It is not that easy. Cause what is with crafting?
How is this Season Gear displayed? Currently it differs by VR Ranks. How will we optain the crafting material, which is currently separated by VR Zones and Ranks.
I think, the easiest way would be giving Mobs a Champion Level and us player an Armor Skillline in the Champion System. If we want to wear, f.e. a current VR14 Armor, we have to spend 14 Champion Points in the Armor Tree. If we only spend 6 Points, we only get Access to VR1-6 Gear.
New Season Gear could than be introduced via new Level in the Champion System Armor Line.
Not to mention that Champion points will be shared between all characters. So if you have 3 v14 characters before this starts you will get 42 champion points on all of your level 50 and up characters. Meaning all of your characters after level 50 will be equal in base stats. An example being that if you have a V1 and a V14 when champion system drops you will theoretically have 2 max level characters with 15 champion points.
True, but not both of them can spend that 15 points. Champion points are account wide and not character. If you use 10 Points on your VR1 character, than the VR14 only has 5 left to use.Not to mention that Champion points will be shared between all characters. Paul Sage has confirmed in an interview with ElderScrollsOTR that ESO is about to get its own account wide character progression system: the champion system. Based on Paul Sage’s description, the system seems very similar to Diablo 3’s Paragon system.
The champion system in ESO will be the last phase of the veteran rank overhaul.
The Champion System in a nutshell
- Veteran Points will be gone and turned into regular experience.
- Any experience gained after veteran ranks will be converted to champion points, which can then be used for various different passives, such as critical hit or spell defense.
- Unlocking champion ranks will also unlock them for any other characters on your account.
- After a champion rank has been unlocked, you’ll be able to spend the champion points on useful passives individually on your alts.
- This gives an incentive to keep on developing your veteran rank characters, because not only will your veteran rank character become more powerful, your other characters will also be able to benefit from champion points.
- You’ll only be able to gain champion points after level 50.
- Champion System will also include “seasons” with season specific champion gear, which will be hard to acquire. Champion gear will have no level requirement, so it looks like it could be ESO’s take on heirlooms.

I dont think that is correct. Do you have a source? Seems I recall Paul Sage saying differently, but I am not for sure.
I thought "Account wide" meant when you earn a point, all your toons get to place the point.

Right...

That means each one of my toons can spend the point.

The problem is that what their proposing is a completely new game, one that would have to be drawn from the ground up again in terms of fight levels for all mobs ect.
You canb't just have them gaining random boosts so a crocodile suddenly has 400 melee resistance due to the RNG, no everything would have to be given certain traits and skills all over again.
Welcome back to Beta.

Balancing will be a nightmare between players for sure, but getting a VR12 mob to be a level 50 mob with the right champion points will be fairly easy. You know there will be champion points to increase Magicka, Health and Stamina by x%. The mobs will then have the appropriate points put into those skills to give them the equivalent resource pools they had before. Nothing else to change.

They are moving to "seasoned" gear. Which will basically convert VR1-14 gear into the first 14 seasons of gear quality. Every major content release will include a new more powerful (in some manner) piece of "seasoned" gear. But hey all the people whining about VR increasing will have something new to complain about.

Ah, great. So this game IS going down the never ending gear-grind path.
