I'm not sure if this is purely due to me trying to log in so soon after the update going live, but the game just hangs on the loading screen after I enter my password and after the 'requesting login' box has shown. It doesn't display an error of any kind and doesn't seem to be actually crashing. The loading symbol is still spinning and the ESO theme music is playing too, albeit cutting out for a second or two every once in a while.
Any suggestions on what to do? Also a side note I am not running any add-ons.

The first login after a major patch can take a bit of time to reach the character selection screen. We suggest waiting about 5 minutes or so to see if the screen comes up. Subsequent logins should be much quicker.
If you continue to experience the issue and you've waiting on the loading screen for a pretty long time, let us know!0
