why don't you deal with blatant cheating? Is it because your employees use these exploits?

I know there have been some members out in Cyrodiil who do this but if you were to list specifics I would definitely elevate that to one of the more important questions.

It's solutions like taking away the DK Pull off keeps because people abuse it that I don't agree with their methodology of fixing. Don't remove the option correct the problem. Pulling off or on keeps was fine but fix the actual issue with the scrolls and gates.

Not to derail too much here. Still some really good suggestions! Looking forward to hearing when the actual Q/A will be.

We were under the impression it was going to be before 1.4 dropped but that is not the case obviously lol.

Certainly. The exploit is associated with mistform. It allows perma invulnerability while allowing the exploiter to attack others. Game breaking. Thanks for asking.

I was aware of this one but thought it was corrected, regardless these issues need to be resolved faster. 75% perma reduction while being able to attack is no good.

Not fixed at all. there are two EP players who will remain nameless who continuously exploit this. they take zero damage, despite being marked, camo up, and no shields. i shot them with 10x lethal arrows in a row despite those debuffs, and they take no damage. meanwhile they hit like trucks. Poor performance on zenimax's part since it's been reported for weeks. at the best, it's horrible management of this game. absolutely the worst cheating i've ever seen.

    1. When and how will the unbreakable CC be fixed? Why is this issue getting no offical response despite being reported for many months?

    2. When and how are you going to adress forward camp spam? It really kills smallscale & solo pvp play and reduces the game to boring zerging.

    3. Are you planning to incorporate more smallscale & solo play pvp incentives into Cyrodiil to make those playstyles more relevant for the war efforts of your faction?

    1. How do you justify the skill Immovable being used by someone in 0 heavy armor?

    2. Would you consider putting a timer on home keep area resources to limit suicide spots and AP farming if your not going to change the FC mechanics?

    3. Is there any consideration of changing the terrain around the DC keeps and them being at a disadvantage over all other keeps inregards to being able to attack from the elevated ground at the mine. There should never be a spot that can attack a keep and defenders not be able to fire back from said keep with a trebuchet atleast.

    1. Are you aware of the issues caused by Harness Magicka and Shield Stacking as a whole and do you plan on addressing them in the near future?

    2. What plans do you have for making other Armor's more appealing? When I say appealing I mean using Heavy over Light/Medium, since there's no reason to be running anything but Light Armor at this point in the game and Medium Armor if you're running Dual Wield or Bow set ups and like sneaking around.

    3. Do you plan to adjust forward camps so there is an actual penalty for dying rather than allowing mass groups of players traveling instantly from one side of the map to the other?

To be honest lets take a look at the skillsets of each class and a look at the game as a whole and I'll weigh in my take.

    Heavy vs Medium vs Light

Heavy armor offers better protection against physical weapon attacks, fighters guild skills, dragon leap, and weapon skills. As a whole, it seems to me the fighters guild skills are lackluster at even countering vampires and werewolves in pvp, and the weapon skills severely lack in capability compared to class skills (which, besides dragon leap, I'm pretty sure are 100% spell-based).

Medium armor offers a bit better protection against these skills, but really only gives better resource management over your stamina, which has already been established as an inferior resource pool compared to magicka. It also offers the negligible bonus of increased weapon attack speed and gives you the opportunity to have more critical strikes denied by impenetrable trait. And sneaking? Who really cares? Honestly do you really need to be an inch in front of a guy before you realize you need to be behind him?

Light armor gives absolutely garbage armor. That being said, it helps you have better resource management over your highly important magicka, will let your spells deal more damage, will help you resist spell damage from all those other casters, and will let you watch more of your spells have their critical strike damage denied by impenetrable.

DK vs Sorc vs NB vs Templar
Why would a DK do anything other than be a spellcasting-based DK in light armor and augment their lack of physical defense with Razor Armor? Have the best of all worlds!

Sorcs have a couple skills to augment their armor. Nothing on par with a DK, mind you, but a little something to help them survive physical attacks. Paired with a couple pieces of heavy armor and Bolt Escape, Sorcs have decent means of sustaining damage and maintaining survivability.

NBs have it rough in this category. Really rough. They can blur, dodging physical attacks for 15 seconds. I'm pretty sure that's it. Am I missing anything here? Keeping in mind that all their assassination damage revolves around magicka, you'd think you want to put your NB in a dress to kill your enemy right away. Think again! Unlike the other classes, NBs are sitting ducks without considerable heavy armor to mitigate the random physical attacks they receive, and magicka glyphs to augment their magicka-based damage skills.

Templars have the ever-interesting damage bubble aka sun shield (and it's morphs). Templars that go down a pure cloth build will receive a higher damage output via spell penetration from the cloth armor skill line as well as more frequent casts from less armor than their heavy armor brethren. Templars in a pure heavy armor setup will have amazing defenses and be difficult to take down. They can also be anywhere in between and be OK.

tl;dr (or didn't figure out what my point is): Other armor has viability for all the wrong reasons unless you are a templar.

I gave you an "Awesome" and "Agree" for this post!

They really do need to fix resources and armours.

I am mainly concerned about their laziness to respond to the pvp playerbase as I think all the other stuff will be covered by previous posters or posters to come.

    1. Why did you promote ESO mainly with pvp features when now it seems like pvp is your stepchild?
    2. Why does it take so long for you guys to respond to player threads that clearly point out the obvious cheating and exploiting well enough for you to take action quickly?
    3. Why the hell don't you act quicker in general?

    1. Do you intend to clarify your terms of conduct regarding PvP exploiting (tons of different ones) and cross-faction cheating (troll camps for example)? At this point, you might as well not have any rules, and that is an unacceptable state for a competition.

    2. Do you think vampires are balanced with 'mortals'? If so, can I have some of what you are smoking? Yes, I know that is two questions...

    3. Do you consider zergballing to be the epitome of pvp skill? If not, why is this tactic only countered by more of the same when it comes to taking anything with a flag? Any plans to fix this paradigm?

Absolutely think latency/lag/crashing issues are the number one thing to bring up. Keep warfare is some of the most fun I have in this game, but it sucks when a large portion of this time is spent logging back in.

I'd like to know about alternative combat zones/objectives, too, such as the 4v4v4 others have mentioned that they had at PAX. Even just adding capture points of already in-game areas, like bridges. Just some kind of new take or content on PvP aside from the Imperial City, which, afaik, doesn't offer a ton of new variety in regards to the way PvP happens. (I could be wrong, though). I just generally would like more to do than just attacking keeps and something to encourage smaller-scale battles.

I want to say class and resource imbalances, but that's not specific to PvP really. I think it's more noticeable in PvP and Trials, but general PvE you can get through with even the most uninformed and random builds; PvE is easy-mode before end-game.

I think population balancing is a very important issue too. Too many campaigns are either one color constantly, or become one color, then 2hours later change to another, etc.

All the questions I've seen so far have to do with zerg balling, AOE caps, etc. This has been discussed a lot and is definitely something the devs are looking into. Here are some things that have not gotten as much attention but definitely need to be looked at:

    1. Why are they releasing more campaigns instead of shrinking the amount? With the current number of players doing PVP, there should be 3 campaigns. 1 non-vet, 2 regular. This would eliminate buff servers entirely. No one would be able to use the non vet as a buff server, and the regular servers would be too competitive to be used as buff servers.

    2. Ward stacking. I should not be able to stack barrier, harness magicka, and healing ward. I also should not be able to ward spam for instant 1k damage sponge. Maybe implement a system where the strongest ward applies if you try to use two at once. Also add a double magicka cost for wards used within 2 second after breaking.
