I was recently testing the effect of Magelight with Invisibility Potions to check for a discrepancy with Nightblade Shadow Cloak.
I have come across an issue with the Magelight skill.
Currently, Magelight is breaking enemy Invisibility effects.
If Shadow Cloak or an Invisibility potion is used within range of Magelight, the Invisibility effect is instantly removed from the player. The effect does not last the full duration, and is instead removed.
Previously (prior to 1.3 or so) Magelight only allowed me to see through enemy Invisibility effects.
The enemy Invisibility effect would take place and last for the whole duration, but I would be able to see the enemy player as a translucent black in the same manner that my character appears when using Invisibility skills myself.
Detection potions, as of my last check, seem to still be working in the same manner as before; it appears to only be Magelight that has changed and is causing this issue.
Detection potions, as far as I have been able to produce, allow me to see the player while he or she is invisible, but the invisibility effect does not break prematurely.
