I have been researching a 7th trait on light chest so I decided to research 2 pieces of medium gear. I have gotten to 2 pieces researched across the medium board. I started the third traits on medium helm and belt last night after work at the same time. I wake up this morning and the helm has over 23 hours to finish and the belt only 3 hours 50 minutes. Now I know for sure something is not quite right.
In the past there have been times when researching had me scratching my head. Research time either skipped ahead or didn't seem to move at all. But I didn't trust the old memory enough to say for sure. Now however with starting the research on 2 pieces of gear everyday after work at the same time something is clearly wrong.

ZOS_GaryA✭✭✭✭✭Hey there @biojelly, we're sorry to hear about the trouble you're experiencing with your research. The trait research times are based on the amount of traits you have researched in the past per item. From your post it seems that you had 2 traits for each medium armor set, but you received the timer for 3 past traits on the helm.
If it's not too late, would you mind submitting a screenshot of the helm slot? Also, if you happen to remember the name of the item that you deconstructed for the trait, it would be a big help to researching the issue.
