Why campaigns are only "balanced" for one side...

The better one side does in campaign the harder it is for the other two sides to keep up - and this is the core problem with campaigns.

A side that hast most keeps owned gets the best score (which is fine) but they also get extra buffs to their characters and (usually) end up with an over powered emperor whose group can do devastating amounts of damage to other alliances groups.

So, the more the winning side pushes the harder it is for the other two alliances to defend themselves and push back as their characters get under powered. So where's the motivation for those two alliances to keep fighting? We see it every day - those players leave such campaigns frustrated and change to a campaign where their alliance is winning (or even leave the game).

This later leaves one side in winning campaigns locked out due to over population leading to further frustration of players.

There should be no buffs for anyone in PvP based on winning or at very least it is the loosing sides that need buffs, not winners. Also as discussed earlier in other threads - emperor buffs need to be looked at fast.

Anyway, that's my opinion after PvP-ing almost since day one. I do enjoy the challenge to fight and defeat stronger opponents, but some situations we have in campaigns now are just ridiculous.

For example - try playing DC or EP in Haderus EU these days.

Actually, it seems like whichever side has superior numbers dominates. This puts EP at a distinct disadvantage in EVERY campaign.

Take a look at the numbers HERE. A quick look at the bars should confirm that EP has the lower overall number of players across all campaigns.

Furthermore, what you describe isn't actually what always plays out. For example, EP has been technically "winning" Thornblade all week. However, they are mostly just stuck in their corner under attack by the "green team."

That's right. Even though AD has Emperor, even though we have had the fewest scrolls for most of the week, both AD and DC have been double-teaming us forcing us to fight on two fronts instead of trying to take advantage of one or the other being occupied to make some headway into each other's territory.

In fact, there is direct collusion going on between major AD and DC guilds to screw over EP. DC will actually organize a massive siege zerg on an inner keep simultaneous to AD on the other, and when DC manages to get our scroll, they run over and give it to AD!

    What the hell is THAT?

    Just tried playing again...

DC and AD are now IN THE SAME TEAM fighting EP, literally side by side.

With all the bash charge + root perma stun exploits, perma speed exploits, perma mist form 75% damage reduction exploits, and now cowards merging factions to create overwhelming numbers, I am not really able to have fun with this anymore.

But there is literally nothing else to do, and nothing else on the market.

Time to work on a new modding project for Skyrim a while and get away from online games in general, at least until ESO has some new material to play through that doesn't involve FoTM exploits.

Yeah, a lot of humans are selfish and egocentric and go for the "easy cheese."

    Shouldn't surprise me I know.

Are you talking about Thornblade NA? EP is in the lead. What more should be said about the "collusion" going on between the bottom 2 factions to take out the top guy? Happened to AD during the last campaign too. DC and EP walked in the breach of our last Emp keep SINGLE TARGETING to not hit each other set up on opposite posterns and took opposite flags. This is AvAvA. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. P.S. Just glad to see AP er EP hasn't high tailed it off the campaign yet, but Monday rolls out the new 30day so I guess we all know where yall are going.

It tells me that In both the EU and NA servers Thornblade is the only campaign worth playing ;) and that most campaigns are uncontested... what a joke!!
