EHJ and EG leadership have bad blood between them. I think that had something to do with EHJ leaving once EG showed up. Its unfortunate that some of the DC leadership holds grudges for months still. Although I was glad to see DC day/night cap guilds finally unite for a few days and make progress in a meaningful campaign. I hope the DC leadership can work together in the future as they did in the beginning of Chill 2.0

To be fair I think the only people who like EG are EG....
After a few days of farming EP at their home keeps, I got several tells from DC pve leaders about getting our alliance a buff server because they had trouble completing trials hard mode without it. So we went and took the buff server, spent a few days defending it, and the EP completely left Thornblade save a few small groups.
Glad guild politics don't effect me.
Good post OP.

No Mercy actually started as a small friends guild from another game. All I did initially was gank and duel. But ganking and dueling with no arenas to test my skills against everyone got boring.

We have since expanded and now primarily engage in erotic role play.

I'm getting dizzy try to follow all the oceanic EP/AD around. Can the musical chairs stop please??
There's just about enough on during off-peak hours to have 3bars or lock each alliance... stop running from each other!
IR/Hijinx/Vonkundein/EHJ/EGL which guild runs the fastest when getting stomped? 50k gold raffle being held in-game to the guild most scared of competition.

This, DC zone chat in both Chillrend and Thornblade is full of EG hate... No one likes them.

Is there a reason for this? I normally run with the EG crew, and the group seems to be pretty productive in the war effort.
A lot of the hate in \zone seems to be because EG isn't everywhere at once. I don't get it. We're all on the same team, right?

Vokundein have never moved to any campaign unless we were forced to (At the end of Wabbajack). We've always aimed for the longest campaign in general because that is where the competition should be the best. We've done Wabbajack and Thornblade and we were proud to be the last organized EP guild still standing at the end of Thornblade 1.0!

We've been around for Wabbajack and Thornblade and I'm pretty sure that we were the only organized guild remaining at the end of Thornblade 1.0 ... so yeah

Yeah, I was going to say...
We fought you guys every day for the majority of the day up until Crystalized and crew picked up and left the server. So you may not have 'homed' on Chillrend, but you guys lived there until all the EP decided to bail then packed up and left.
Edit: This is about Vokundein

No wonder I never saw them on Thornblade.. Seems giving them the benefit of the doubt that they were telling the truth in their claims was mistaken. I should probably edit my other post where I was giving props to then for sticking it out.
Real Timeline of events on Thornblade/Chillrend:
- Thornblade1.0 starts, balanced fun fights for 2 weeks.
- 2 weeks later AD/DC grapple for 1st and EP is too far behind to compete.
- DC takes the Bow of Shadows buff server away from EP
- Major EP guilds leave Thorn to turn Chillrend into a buff server
- Without the EP players to keep AD's night crew in check, AD pulls ahead of DC on Thornblade.
- Much complaining takes place about AD nightcapping the entire map on Thornblade, and EP nightcapping the entire map on Chillrend.
- Alacrity leaves Thornblade to help AD on Chillrend, since it is now an EP buff server.
- 1 week passes with much complaining from every faction.
- Thornblade 1.0 ends in victory for AD, Chillrend 1.0 ends in victory for EP
- No Mercy goes to help DC on Chillrend
- Hijinx leaves Chillrend because they cannot pass Crystalized to get Emp.
- Thornblade 2.0 and Chillrend 2.0 start
- Chillrend 2.0 is fun and relatively balanced, Thornblade 2.0 is all AD
- After a few days DC's population grows very high during the day and they start to pull ahead of EP.
- Venatus comes to Chillrend from Thornblade to help Alacrity and AD.
- EGL comes to Chillrend from Thornblade because they can't fight the remaining AD on Thornblade, severely tipping the population balance of both servers.
- Major EP guilds leave Chillrend for Thornblade because they cannot pull ahead of DC or even pull a single Emp.
- EHJ leaves Chillrend for Thornblade because they cannot pull ahead of No Mercy for Emp.
As of now the major guilds that remain on Chillrend are:
- No Mercy [DC]
- EGL [DC]
- Alacrity [AD]
- Venatus [AD]
As of now the major guilds that remain on Thornblade are:
- EHJ [DC]
- IR [EP]
- Hijinx [EP]
- Vokundein [EP]
- DiE [AD]

This whole guild soap opera and dictating where I play would just give me a headache.

From an EP side of view, I see EG as a very organized guild when it comes to move discretly around the map and hits where it hurts the most. They know how to siege efficiently a keep in no time and make it flips.
Downside is, when they decide to actually follow their own zerg, with amount of players they have, they can easily crash the server doing something that I won't discuss here because I don't want to encourage anyone to crash a server.
In theory, it's not even their fault if the server crashes. It's just a lack of ressources or performances on the server side.
