Connection issues? "please try again in a few minutes"

Bought the game last week, the beta worked fine, installed, created character, then around 3-5seconds of being logged in, i get kicked back to the log on screen with the error message, "error, please try again in a few minutes" . ESO have told me to forward my ports, use the repair tool, connect to LAN, update drivers etc.

They then told me to contact my ISP (sky) because the traffic may being limited. I gave them a call they said everything was fine, and they did not put specific blocking on anything. I am not sure this is the case or the technician i spoke to didnt have a clue.

I attatched my report to the ESO customer support so they have the information, waiting for them to give me a call back as it has gone from 8minutes to around 30 and still increasing, anyone else had this problem? Feel like ive just wasted £50.

It is just baffling me as the BETA worked fine!

    That is exactly the same error as I have been getting. I am also with sky btw. You saw my other thread post but there was also one thing I was doing and it was working up until friday, so if the MTU thing doesn't work then try this.
    Go to the ESO folder in your drive and find the eso exe application.
    Right click it and run as administrator.
    This bypasses the launcher and it worked for me for a month anyway.

    Hope either of the 2 solutions help you out because trust me, I feel your pain.
