Normal dmg numbers or not?

Are these normal dmg numbers, or is the dmg scaling bug still not fixed?

Im running full impenetrable so its not crits btw.

See the Fragmented shield hits and the Blazing shield one.

The Fragmented shield hits all came from the same player, and the Blazing shield fight was over in a sec, so its not like I was standing there taking stacks of dmg.
By that I mean that I'm quite certain the Death recap isn't just bundling numerous small hits into one.

    I'd just report them and let zenimax figure it out. seems over the top to me.

    Blazing shield is from them stacking the shield over and over again, its a known issue i think, wonder when it will be fixed. As for the frag shield, if you break all the shields at once, eg. you use tether on 6 people all with frag shield, it will blow them at the same time and it makes them into 1 spot on the death recap, even though it came from 6 people which is why its such a high number.

    Except this important feature of the skill apparently is bugged and if u cast it alone or in the middle of the Zerg is still a 30% damage shield of max hp, not extra 4% pr nearby player.

    Could be a bug if it isn't however the tool tip states that it's strength is increased by 4% for each nearby enemy which in turn would increases the damage pop.

    4% for each nearby enemy (HIT)... Not just cause they are around the temp picking runes and stuff..

    Ok let me help you with fragmented shield. If I cast fragmented shield on 5 players that surround me plus my self and all those shields go off. They go off in my name.(and I'm guessing that the death recap is showing the accumulated value not each and every shield going off)

    I was under the impression that the shield was working as the tooltip states. Is this wrong then? Tooltip quoted below..

    Just to be very clear, since everyone is claiming that the blazing shield damage is clearly the stacking bug... you can get over a 2k blazing shield hit without the stacking bug so that could very well be a legitimate hit. You can get near a 3k hit legitimately.

    Are you sure of that? In my own tests crits were always below 1.5k, with a crit + spell damage build and after using solar barrage (+50 spell power).

    Spell damage and spell power have no affect on how blazing shield works, only crit. And yes I am sure of it, I do it all the time. The higher hits above the ~2k range tend to be against vampires. 2k is not that hard to reach when players with high amounts of health + crit are taken into account. Now I'm not saying here that it isn't for sure the stacking problem, it very well could have been (especially depending on your defenses), but just to be clear a 2k hit is very possible :) regardless a birdie told me zeni has this fixed for 1.4

    Yes, that's a bit gnarly considering the amount of Health players have.
    Maybe it's time to get a golden bow, I don't know.

    It only does big damage once on the opener and very very rare to hit for over 2K let alone on a vet player.

    Blazing shield is normal for that amount. Many times I've used it and occasionally stacked it to hit around 2-3K. I'm not proud of it, but sometimes it's useful to defend yourself as a healer and a good counter to those bow users who hit for 2k, or 3-4k before the first arrow lands.

    Even if they fix the stacking, there are ways to still make it hit for 1-1.5k which makes it a very viable tool in your PvP arsenal.
