✭Back when I played EverQuest on Lanys, there used to be a website called Lany's Sh*tlist. Basically called people out for training, ninja loot, etc along with screenshots and "proof" to warn people about these crooked individuals. So if ZOS wont let you do it here, someone start a website for such actions

Someone DID start a website for that, which I am very much opposed to. Anyway, they posted on tamriel foundry but did not provide a link (One of the mods wasn't keen on it either) you could probably PM them for the info as much as I hate enabling that kind of thing.Dear Sister, I do not spread rumors, I create them.0 -
Dimitrie✭Let's be honest a big part of people in this game are using exploits. Not saying hacks even though we all know there's radar hacks being used, bots, but I find 1 out of every 3 people I encounter in cyrodil are exploiting. Don't care what you all say but the stacking and stacking of buffs and shields, temps, dks and sorcs not running out of stamina or magicka. 1 out of every 2 sorcs seem to be able to teleport constantly for minutes. DKS tanking 25+ peeps and never running out of stamina, the blocking in this game just needs to be taken away if people are going to exploit and never run out of stamina or magicka. Again don't care what you comment back I do a lot of pvp and yes 1 out of every 3 people I encounter are exploiting period. So just play the game and hush, ZOS isn't going to fix it end of story.5 -

You don't suppose that it might be because there's no, ah, specific information in the post other than a since-deleted name? Do you suppose that's enough to go on? /report and /bug has specific where-when-what information that a general "X did Y" anecdote lacks.

If anyone would like a link to site then can send me a message here. I have already received over twenty submissions but they are currently under review before being posted to the website. I don't know if providing a link to such site on these forums would be against the code of conduct.
Wonderful. A website actively engaged in witch hunting and slandering players. This is something that really should be left to ZOS--they're the ones with the data and the resources to verify cheating claims, not you.

I have seen this in other MMO's. In the end the people who are 'Clean' leave.
One MMO's I played is a ghost town now. Only the hackers and cheaters are left. Cheaters drive people away and when they go so does their money.

✭I got my first wow account banned after getting caught using ***** ****** for the second time... the first time you get caught you'll get a warning / temp ban, the second time will get you banned permanently. How harsh ZOS may or may not punish TOS violators, they probably do ban after a warning has been given. Have more faith in ZOS to sort out cheaters for themselves, by now, they should have the tools needed to do so.
Slander sites should be taken down by ZOS, they only serve people who wish to abuse the system. Oh and...

✭One more reason of hacking is that we have API. We can execute our own code in game. IMO is very hard to look on all players, especially when almost all players use mods.Make sweetrolls, not nerfs!0 -

Nope. The API is limited to low level interface stuff. Unless you know how hook processes to memory to get every API code working, which the average joe will never touch. More that its hard to track down single issues even if they find it in log it can be hard to find unless very obvious.Costs money to implement that. That's money out, and game companies prefer money to be coming in.
If the cheating starts to affect the income, then they may do something to address it with software client side.
Then a hack become more known and more is using it its far easier to find as you have more data.
Part of the target here is not just to ban the offender but also plug the hole.
One option is to flag him and perhaps do extra logging.Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.0 -
