hacking

Needs to be investigated. Along with a lot of others.

Seems the hacking craze is progressing to a point where one guy can use infinite resources to tank 25 or more people.

But this guy takes it to a new level. Teleporting through the air across the huge part of the slaughterfish infested river/lake to escape the 8 or so guys that were hitting him for 2 minutes and couldnt reduce his 50 or so hpts.

I understand shields and resources. But this guys hacking is more obvious than the bugs in this game.

Kinda silly more people are showing up doing these hacks and Zenimax has not gotten a handle on it.

You are breaking the regs by naming names. If someone is hacking or exploiting report them through official channels - in game report.

Instead of instantly assuming the player is hacking and then publicly shaming them, maybe it's worth reporting as some sort of bug combined with lag? By all means submit a ticket but don't publicly shame without any concrete proof it's not simply lag combined with some kind of bug.

You can't Name and Shame so edit your post please. But that guy was also a Botter, Hacker and Account Sharer in Tibia.

Mmmm... Don't want to be picky, but 'Bi... of S...' isn't exactly the most creative or unique name ever... That proves nothing as it could've been a completely different person and there's no way to check that out :persevere:

There will always be cheaters. In the real world it becomes public knowledge. In an online world their identities are protected so the cheater can still pay for his subscription.

Hey guys, please keep in mind that we cannot investigate in-game TOS violations from the forums. Please report these issues in-game, as in-game reports contain important information for the investigation. Thank you for your understanding.

Costs money to implement that. That's money out, and game companies prefer money to be coming in.

If the cheating starts to affect the income, then they may do something to address it with software client side.

The general response is usually, "We're looking into it." One month later...there he is again. In some cases(macros) they'll even say, "If you can't beat them, join them."

Back when I played EverQuest on Lanys, there used to be a website called Lany's Sh*tlist. Basically called people out for training, ninja loot, etc along with screenshots and "proof" to warn people about these crooked individuals. So if ZOS wont let you do it here, someone start a website for such actions :)

I actually have created a fan site that compiles a list of known in game cheaters/exploiters so guilds can use it as a resource when selecting guild applicants. If anyone would like a link to site then can send me a message here. I have already received over twenty submissions but they are currently under review before being posted to the website. I don't know if providing a link to such site on these forums would be against the code of conduct.

I saw a guy I won't name that appeared to have 25 Atronach Stone bonuses. This was from Wykkyd's Framework/FTC and looking at him.

Is there anything in either of those addons that could cause an error to appear? I looked at hundreds of other players at the siege and only he had this. Others with the Atronach Bonus only had it once.

I have a panel to review submissions and make a determination based on the proof submitted. I value your honesty. Being it is a fansite, I am not liable for the accuracy of the proof. Fake stuff will be discarded but since the approved submissions are posted, you the viewer can also decide for yourself. Hopefully this can be a tool for you and guilds when deciding to invite individuals to your guild or groups.

I will check some of my resources. I also belong to several cheat sites to use as reference for my project so I will check there as well.
People have been able to duplicate other bonuses.

On Zenimax's side, they did do 1v1 against the ****** farmers. And knocked them out of the game.

    I don't see botting.

    Or spamming.

Zeni won that battle hands down.

Yeah, report them in game, then they will write to ZOS and get their ban lifted, just like some AD emperor whose running speed was 2X faster than ridding a lvl 50 fast horse with speed buff and just came in and out of groups of 30 players with his vamp ult before disappearing with his insane speed.

He got mass reported, permabanned, then baned for 1 month, then ban was lifted...

While we're on the topic, I noticed that in Cyrodiil a person could, in semi-rare cases (about 1 in 115 cases) get unlimited stamina and could sprint and dodge forever. It's not hacking, but an unintended bug that happens as a freak occurence. This "buff" ends as soon as you pick up an elder scroll, die, or teleport out of Cyrodiil.

No hacks exists for ESO because the hacking community has given up on it due to the game sucking (I don't agree with that statement).

No, they are saying that the players are writing custom hacks for themselves, not using the "professional" ones because they have gone away for some reason.

I have to agree with this. Set aside some bot programs, professional MMO hackers that sell their hacks for subscription fees have discontinued the hacks for the game due to lack of demand.
