Ok, people. For what I hope is the last time: no one is opposed to this idea because they don't feel that they would use more active abilities on their bar. Anyone with even an inkling of why the developers chose this system is voting "No," because they understand that the limited actionbar is to force you to make choices. Choices. That matter.
By keeping the actionbar limited, it actually creates an incredibly wide variety of builds and playstyles. It also forces players to seriously consider their bar layout before encounters, because every ability is taking up a valuable slot.
I don't know why this seems to be so hard to understand. Even people who don't like the system seem to inadvertently get it before pretending that they don't get it.
I like that it forces me to pick and choose to prioritize what I want to use in a given situation. If I can foresee the type of fights I will be getting into I will swap out skills to be more effective.

I hope for 1 new Skillslot with the Spellcrafting.
Each skill or spell you create/morph will still need a slot in your bar. The player still have to choose what to use. We simply adding more choices to create even more unique builds.

I hate that consoles limited us pc users to 5 skill slots and 1 ultimate slot.
I want a better system than the screwy circle thingy.
Because I was limited to 5 skill slots for so long and had to endure the screwy circle thingy, I want 500 extra skill slots.

This has nothing to do with consoles.
Again: This. Has. Nothing. To. Do. With. Consoles.
Limited action bars are used in plenty of other MMOs, and there are solid reasons for developers to use them. They force people to use tactics, and they create build diversity.

It is actually forced by consoles. Other MMOs that limit action bars aren't ported to consoles and don't have so few skill slots. The ultimate proof of this is the fact you can only use potions with Q and that you have to slot it first when all the other games have multiple slots for multiple potions.
I don't mind the fact that we only have 5 skill slots or that the game is made like this but I'm 100% sure they set the 5 skills limit in order to make the game portable to consoles and then made the system around that basis so it's viable.
I love ESO and what ZOS is doing with the game content but UI sucks because of consoles and I truly hope console release crashes & burns just to teach them a lesson and to make them change this awful UI.

ZO has actually stated that the actionbar design has nothing to do with console limitations, and that's confirmed by the design of MMOs like DC Universe Online, which enable you to have larger hotbars, even on the console version of the game.
Now, you can believe that ZO is lying or that other MMOs don't use limited actionbars in this way, but that's a lot of assumption. It's blatantly obvious that the limited actionbar design is an intended feature, regardless of the platform, and it allows for a much greater build and tactical diversity than larger actionbars do.
